the bus stop I remember was similar, but not quite this, we did it in the early 80s all the way up to the late 90s, I loved it. I still bus stop in the privacy of my home though.
The Fatback Band did the original in the late 70's "Do the Bus Stop" - original music got everyone going - don't worry about rhythm, the music moved you right.

We did this in the disco I worked at and at my wedding reception but nothing like this. We shook our hips and lowered down to the ground. Haven’t seen that move in any of the videos.
