Because Mexico doesn't have welfare

They won't get any government benefits and aid (free housing etc) in Mexico like they do in the US. We have created the incentives for the lazy ones to come here.

I'm sure you feel bad about it - but next time just do a nice gesture for a freezing woman crying & freezing. It's what we should do for them. We could be in her shoes ANYTIME the way things are going. And no one will care! So please find it in your heart to help even a tiny bit! God Bless You! And bless our freezing homeless people who are tossed aside for illegals/drugs/M13 gangs/Cartels making trillions, human trafficking, etc.

(Heck, I give to bums who want "alcohol" - at least their honest & I'd probably want a shot or 2 myself!) Drugs, no! Alcohol - I don't mind but MUCH more preferred FOOD provided!! We live & learn. I live in Texas, and I have compassion for the families with young children who are struggling to get their life started in the United States 🇺🇸. I pray for them 🙏 every day. They don’t know how to get in a line. If you want something, you have to learn to get in a line. You cannot just cut the line, which a lot of asylum seekers are hoping to do.

@@TacoBear_Studios oh I agree, but the key word is asking. I don’t think they asked. They hope to stay. But if they would see that they can do it better instead of barging in, that’s the difference. I have friends who are DACA recipients even now, and they have uncertain futures due to the choices their folks made knowingly or unknowingly. I think it’s unfair on the children. I wish they would stay here, but they would save themselves a lot of head aches if they did it legally.

Requesting asylum is a legal way. If not granted you are sent back.

@@RSTI191 one party wants no asylum seekers to come in and the other party wants all to be allowed in. Both parties don’t want to reform immigration either but instead want to point fingers. I do not agree with letting anyone and everyone in that wants to claim asylum however I also believe both political parties need to stop with their 10 year old finger pointing, whining and do the job that us tax payers are paying them to do which is to sit at the table together and come up with a solution together.

@@RSTI191 current law is still to vague… anyone who “fears persecution” can claim asylum without providing any evidence and then can hang out in the United States for YEARS until a judge hears their case. That New York mayor had it right. There should be initial discovery to verify if the person has a legitimate claim and proof of persecution for their asylum claim before letting them in. If they don’t then don’t let them in.
