The RATP operates the majority of buses in Paris and a significant number of lines in its suburbs. Other suburban lines are operated by private operators grouped in a consortium known as Optile (Organisation professionnelle des transports d'Île-de-France). There are approximately 4,000 rows of all bus companies serving the Ile de France.

Really like your channel. You have a good eye for filming and I do like the info - not too much , just right for someone who would love to, (but alas is now too old), visit these places. A lot has changed since my days of "Bus Spotting and collecting" (late 60's/early 70's), most look the same to me nowadays, - oh for the lovely 'open backed' Renaults, - they were the epitome of Paris. I nearly bought one when they went but the cost plus a spare engine and getting it back to the UK was just too much. - If only I hadn't just got married - mad fool, getting married that was. What was that little baby bus right at the end, I wouldn't have thought it carried enough passengers to pay for it's running costs.

Beautiful buses circulating in the French capital. To my taste the model that I like is what appears at first that used Renault chassis (do not know the car body) and the Mercedes-Benz Citaro. I was watching your videos. Variety of videos I loved your channel, so I subscribed without hesitation. Paris's buses have about as much character as blocks of flat strips of wood. If you are into this kind of transport fandom go to London where there is colour and variety in their vehicles. Also, try Birmingham, and Manchester...oh, but I forgot, most of them are owned overseas, like ALL industry in UK.

French quibble, please forgive me for being pedantic; it should be "Les bus à Paris" or "Les bus de Paris". The "the" definite article is needed in French.

+TheOneFrankie I did like the metro system - so many different train types! Although the rubber tyred trams are a bit perplexing to me but still cool!

+timosha21 Yeah we need rubber tyred trains because they accelerate so much faster than steel wheels on rails. This steep ac/deceleration rate is essential especially when our stations are so close together. Plus, in the old days, DC motored trains are not as fast as modern day AC trains in acceleration. But even with modern AC motors, rubber tyred trains still trump AC motored steel wheelers. What's more, RATP ensures that you know that the doors are closing by blasting horns to tell you "Stand the FUCK clear from the doors!"

além dos ônibus serem bonitos com uma frota 💯 por cento moderna e com ar condicionado , Paris e ótima , a cidade não tem aquela confusão na paisagem com fios dependurados nos postes que causam um aspecto de degradação
