I would like to take the opportunity to thank you guys for putting so much effort into making these fantastic videos! We sold our house, car and a lot of our belongings, bought 4 (familie of 4) visas and 4 one way trip plane tickets to Australia to go travel for a year... Unfortunately covid wrecked our little plan but we are persistent and we decided to postpone our trip with a year.. So with a little luck we will be visiting your beautiful country next year. Until then we will be looking forward to the videos you make with all the fantastic stories! Thanks again!! Cheers mates 🤙
I know you guys will envy me but right now I’m here way down south in Victoria in another lockdown for 6 weeks, you gotta love it. Victoria the place everyone gets locked down, not just the criminals. Your videos are one of the few things that’s keeping my sanity. Keep up the good work.
These vids are deadset first class 👌, awesome family, awesome setup ! Sincerely enjoy every minute of these. Makes me want to hook up the camper every time i watch. Hi from Toowoomba 🤙
Hay guys stocked you guys are still living the dream thanks for some sic vids you guys are so easy to watch every day people and sic perants kids look stocked 🤙🤙🤙
You guys are awesome. Mrs and I love watching. How noisy was the generator? Also just near the end you mentioned dropping into town to get water. Where do you fill up between free camps. Cheers guys.
Hello welcome back Bec and Justin I all most choked on my dinner when the bell went off for this episode, and thank you for taking the time to video this episode for all to see. Great set up will you let Bec drive to next destination let the lady's know yes they can drive a set up like you have.
Hey guys great to see you all back on the road again good title for a song that is. Where did you get the yellow board that you used to cut the roast up on and obviously it wont go through to mark the bench ,Roast looked yummmmmmy
Love your set up but you should have got a deisel heater installed we put one in our van and it's one of the best add on's we've done and only uses around 130ml of deisel per hour, van stays at around 23 degrees with a window cracked.
Epic trip guys, I recon Charlie Bear is the Wild Child of the Bunch and show the boys up as they get older. Loved how she was laughing hard about leaving Mum at the Gate and driving on. Cant wait to see all of your kids grow up and watch them out bush that you guys as parents give them inspiration to the future of the many opportunities we have away from the big Cities out Bush. I'm more than sure they will follow in your foot steps to being drawn to the Country more than the Big Smoke. Happiness is being Bush hands down. It has a spiritual self healing property to the mind. I grew up with experiencing it through my Parents on Caravan trips and the Bush, and cannot leave Country now. Good on you guys. Its what every kid should grow up experiencing in life.🙏 You can see it in there faces they are enjoying Life.
Hey dudes, get on to an app called beanhunter, I wouldn’t travel without it! It’s well worth checking coffee shop reviews in towns you’ve never been before. Safe travels, Rob
Wait until you use the hill assist and turn assist :) Mate bogged my beast in sand near exmouth and used the crawl control and it rose up out of the sand like jesus. The hardest part is to turn your brain off for wanting to use your feet all the time, you'll get the hang of it after a while. Gleno.
I commented on one of your beach camps and recommended paying the kids 10c or what ever any rubbish they find for to learn responsibly of earning money and picking up rubbish and you guys liked it and responded which was super cool but me and the misses watch your films and we love it and are thinking of starting our own channel because of you guys
Glad to see you guys back on the road again. You never fail to deliver a top notch video 👌🏼. Terrific content & editing Justin, well done, we both love it. You like to tour in your 4x4 just like we do, cost us too much to demolish it on a track. Cheers P&H
Awesome idea with the iPad, you should get a Bluetooth speaker or run some speakers Behind the kids so the movies arent blasting in ya ears, just be bec then 🤭😂
You should get yourself a small camp smoker so you can smoke/slow cook some pulled pork or lamb, or even a brisket. Best thing you'll ever do and you'll get that awesome smoke taste to your meat and whatever rub you decide to put on the meat.
yay - welcome back - great milky way shots - Jack you are a legend, carrying Charlie Bear shows how lovely you are. Our new van is really well insolated, I wonder if it would make much difference. So glad you are on the road again.
Worth checking out the Kaon stainless steel side tables for the Baby Q Justin - Perfect for food prep and you can fold them straight onto the hot grill if you need to head off in a hurry.
Well you guys this has been well worth waiting for, great to see you travelling again. Happy travelling looking forward to the next one already! Oh dear Becs steady on the wine :) Hmmmm if you think its cold there try one of our winters, that's why we are looking forward to coming back to Oz....Happy travels Roy & Cheryl. (UK).
Yay! Something to watch whilst cooking dinner. Mum’s cooking rissoles tonight with special sauce - gravy. 👌🏽 Hope you lot have been well & I mean ‘upstairs’. Love watching my modern day Leyland brothers family. 🤙🏽
Lovely video and so much information for people to follow in your footsteps on your journey 👍 take care and stay safe from Matty in kent- England 🏴
Great vid, good to see the family having fun. Down here in cloudy Victoria is the pits at the moment, would trade places in a heart beat. Safe travels guys.
@@TripInAVan Maybe could you do a a quick video on it if you have time. I've been trying to get some night shots but they no where near come out like yours they are awesome.
That place took me back a few years. I drove up telecom hill in a standard Jeep Grand Cherokee about 5 years ago. I wouldn’t do it now looking at it. I was a lot braver before I had kids to worry about lol. Great video guys. So pumped to see more of Queensland from your point of view.
Steak medium to medium well. Finally..... someone else in the world that doesn't eat steak warmed over raw....... I actually go for well done but I don't like it mooing at me!. Good vid, great pics, beautiful country. Wished Cruisemaster could persuade some of the high end van/trailer manufacturers here in North America to use their suspension. and the shot of the night sky at 23:08 is awsome!!
222 comments when i get to take my turn. well done. you turned left off Commissioner flat rd towards Woodford, up Cove rd. in reverse i know the Google maps takes you along Old Gympie road via Landsborough (dirt) instead of out to the Bruce Hwy and North. keep up the good work.
Love the new rig.... you must be like a kid in a candy shop driving that beast...Look fowrard to seeing the new adventures this year in Season 2.. Keen to see how you find the roof mounted light bars after a while using them. Keep the great content flowing..
Just want to say at this point in my life, there's no one else I look up to more than you guys. Words cant even describe how much I enjoy your content haha. I dream to live that lifestyle & I will make it happen! Much love from a young Aussie with a dream 🌏
Hi Guys, I was worried when i purchased a 3.5kva generator that it would not operate my heater in my jayco camper trailer - you are running a 2.1kva so i should not have any issues yeah? Loved the new vids BTW:)
Yeeeessss, love you guys back in the road! A) my boys need that iPad holder set up from the roof of the car. B) My boys are also Ninjago Mad!!😂😂 And Beck, put your feet up with a wine, if the man insists on cooking - hell yes!😉😂
Hi Guy's love love love all your fantastic adventures your sharing with us on Utube. Going to do a trip myself I've been given a second chance after fighting Cancer so why not. Got a new van really looking forward to a trip after all this madness calms down. Justin it's great so see you and your lovely family enjoying life maybe see you on the road one day safe traveling cheers Alf
Justin hot tip, use a hammer or small mallet whatever you have in your toolbox to smack the back of the Tomohawk to chop up your kindling... it works a damn treat & give it a go & se how much easier it is you don’t even need to hit it hard i did the old facepalm when i saw how simple safe & effective that camping hack is ... Loved the Episode guys that place is on my list...
Great start to the new lap guys. How did you mount the rail blazer to the dash? Just screw it in? I'm having trouble finding good mounts for my ipad. I use rail blazer gear in my kayak and it has been great.
Love following you guys. Question what do you do for shower water when remote camping? Do you use your tank water or can you pump from an external source? We carry a portable hot water system and use rive/ lake water. Worried using tank water would be no where near enough for extended stays?
There's heaps of stuff you guys say you take and don't take on trips, where do you keep it when you're travelling the country? Parents house? Storage? Your own house? And how do you pick up something from wherever you have it stored to do a certain trip if it's on the other side of the country?
I don't recall seeing that firepit with the mesh over it in previous vids. Can you let us know about it. Thanks, and so good for you to be on the road again and for us to enjoy your travels again.
Doesn’t sunseeker come with a diesel heater? Any plans to put one in? Can you pretty please do a full vid on you vans battery setup hey? Would love to know more about what you started with in first van and how that’s progressed to what you’ve learnt and implemented into today’s rig 👍🏻
Loved this video guys. Just purchased a van and can not wait to get out there more. Your family is amazing. Thank you for all that you share. Can’t wait for more videos.
Should invest in a gas or diesel heater, it will keep you warm all night use little fuel and not much noise plus you won’t upset the neighbours. This COVID thing is not going away anytime soon.
Wonderful start to the new season ... once again fantastic info ... safe journey to the next spot ... we look forward to watching you and so do my family now ....❤️♥️👏
Nice one guys good to see ya out n bout Charlie is a little legend, so funny when she was sleeping in the truck haha,we’ll see yaz later on in the episodes up here in cairns 👍🏻👍🏻
Love watching your videos, have totally inspired my husband and to get serious about our beautiful country.Woulx you be able to tell me what kind of mattress you have in your new van please, we are currently sleeping on a rock and it has to go. Cheers Carole
Just watched for the second time guys, totally agree with the comment about becoming an institution, same deal in our house, kids love to watch your shows, they can relate so much as they are the same ages as your mini humans. Top work !
Love the cooking tips Justin 😋 off to bye a trivet and spacer for our camp oven . Heading to Woora & Ningaloo Station in a couple of weeks so hoping to cook a roast or 2 . So good to have you guys back on the road 🙌
Awesome my family and I are planning a trip around Australia as soon a this is over can you please like my comment and mention me in the next vid pls. Stay safe
Excellent start to season 2/ guys,a couple of campoven hints for you mate,1=never put your lid down on dirt, especially sand, for introduced grit into meal, hint is preselect a nice preferebably a stone, rocks,or even a couple of sticks to place lid on if removed during cooking!,2=to save oven space for veges, wrap a small pumpkin, sweet potato, potatoes in 3_4 wraps of Alfoil and place in coals on fires edge, cook for 45_60 min until soft when squeezed, then is cooked perfectly? 3= always condition oven before use by several heatings with vegetable oil ,& boil water in after use to make for ease of cleaning, wipe inside liberally with oil to prevent rusting, then is already for use next time,4= at southern side of kingaroy is the famous boiled peanut van, when in that area, keep an eye out for gayndah Navel oranges, munduberra mandarins, this is their prime seasonal harvest time, sweetest after winters first frost, happy travels guys through my old stomping grounds into central Queensland, I was raised on farm at Thangool, Mount Scotia has a great free camp?Canis gorge at Monto is worth a look,Canis dam is great fishing \boating,Callide dam at Biloela is worthwhile also?as always, Kindest Regards,Dave McLaughlin, Queensland ,Australia
@@TripInAVan,here is a winning campfire meal tip, with nil washing up!,Grab a medium to large Queensland blue Pumpkin, slice a lid off it,approximately 20_30 mm down from the top, scoop out all seeds, pith,to hollow out the insides, fill the insides with left over stew, casserole, or 1 cup per person of tin products,eg.curry, bake beans, spaghetti, harvest tin meals, place lid back on,in same position, lining up outside skin, secure with 3 small sticks( about the size of 2"_3" nails, make sure to remove all the stem(core), wrap in 3_4 layers of Alfoil, place in coals, cover and cook for 45_60 minutes, until soft when poked, remove from fire, carefully unwrap alfoil, remove pegs, lift lid, give family a spoon each, tuck in,a great way to use up frozen leftovers, wrap remaining skin in alfoil
