Man Tim I think I could sit and watch this all day long. I enjoy bush hogging and cutting grass as well and from the looks of the place I believe you do as well. Thanks for sharing and I have some really bad memories of getting in Yellowjacket nests. Yikes be safe!

Love the bushhogging. I think I found your channel years ago looking for content on a JD tractor like yours and you were bushhogging then. it was back when you were cutting and almost ran into an old well. Archery starts here in Pa on Oct1. I hunt my brothers also near columbus Ohio. Theirs starts Sept 24th.
At 13 yrs old on a Ford 3000diesel I learned how to Bushog,and have used different rotary cutters since then. Bushog is the top of the rotary cutters in my opinion. Love watching your videos (especially the Bushogging) nothing like being on a tractor Bushogging!
That fall stuff don't even phase that tractor at all, that's a tough machine to kill when brush hogging, an you've takin it threw some thick stuff before, cool video Tim, thanks for sharing 💪🇺🇲🌲
I enjoy brush hog it is l therapy for me Just sitting on the tractor and having time to reflect I had a Mahindra tractor it was 28hp with 5ft brush hog I would cut my neighbors grass for him at the time he was a over the road truck driver he owned his own truck and trailer When I mowed his yard it looked Like it was cut with a riding lawn mower
I cannot count how miles i have running bushhogs , of all sizes , up to 15' batwings . That combo you have cuts nice . Bonus for no bumblebees / yellow jackets / hornets . I hate them things with a passion . I hit 4 yellow jacket nest in one day once , on a single job , with a push mower . Not fun at all . SOBs go right up your pant legs , stinging with one end and biting with the other . I do not recommend these kinds of dance lessons
I've heard the hydrostatic doesn't have as much ground engagement, I've always used manual tractors, it will be a compact tractor 30 to 40 hp. Around the yard work, moving hay, I think a shuttle will be the best bang for the buck. Plus it will keep the wife off of it.
