In this video Lester and I (Dan Hendriksen) will be reviewing both the Bushnell Tour V5 and the Bushnell Tour V5 Shift.

I have a V5 shift and it’s a bit of kit 👌🏼 would recommend it to anyone higher down to lower handicaps, will change your game massively!

My V2 died last year, had that for years. Upgraded to the Garmin G80 with GPS. I like the ability to have the GPS view in the view finder and shows relationship of the flag to front and back of green. Great for new courses.

Never had or tried a range finder. I’ve got a Shotscope V3 gps watch and being visually impaired it’s a massive aid. What I really need is a launch monitor so I can really hone my distances with my whole bag, including full, ¾ and ½ swing pitches.

I have watched this video several times now and there seems to be a fault part way through. If you look closely you can distinctly see Dan miss a green in regulation. I’m sure it’s just a corrupted file or something and nothing to worry about. I was shocked at first though. Would love a range finder that sticks to things. I could double it up as a fridge door handle. Great content gentlemen. Thanks as always.

I have a V4 slope model , i play on a links course which throws up a few shots over dunes etc which means the laser can't help you, so i have just picked up a garmin g6 to give me yardages on blind shots.keep up the good work.

Hey Dan, Lester, I use the Bushnell phantom, it's a GPS unit that i can clip to my bag. Fantastic unit, has helped my game a fair bit.

I bought a Leupold with slope about 5 years ago when I got back into golf. I knew the name meant quality glass. I wasn't familiar with Bushnell or Garmin so the name recognition swayed me. I'm still happy with it.

I’ve no GPS at all and solely go on feel, mainly because I can afford a good GPS/laser with 3 kids at home. Great content Dan, keep it up

Great video Dan and Lester. I Find a range finder really useful for those dialled in numbers. My ones a bit beat up now so a new Bushnell would be just the job.

The Bushnell have developed a lot ~ from the original I had ~ worked in the rain and mist as it had a setting but locking onto flags that were still was a problem ~ had to lock onto someone tapping in by the hole , made you keep up with the game in front 🤩👍

Would prefer to use a rangefinder BUT as a prescription glasses wearer (refuse to do contacts) too much of a pain in the arse to take off the glasses for yardages. Will keep using my GPS. Great content here as usual. Lester is hysterical.

I love my Garmin GPS watch. I much prefer the hassle-free experience with a GPS watch over a hand-held GPS or rangefinder.

@Mike Austin Fan I understand your point, but it's frustrating to wait for a player to grab the rangefinder, zap the target, put the rangefinder away, pull a club, and then consistently miss target by 1 or more clubs.

I'm on my 2nd Bushnell PRO XE...thought BITE was great so stuck it to the buggy and left it on there never to be seen again..someone out there has got a £450 gift...Please golfers, don't stick on a buggy keep it on you're bag...This really is a great piece of kit...

I still have the bushnell v2. Still working well. Ive been brutal with it over the years and its still going strong. There's no doubt they make quality products. You've got to know the yardage to put a confident swing on it.

Slope is a life saver, I’ve had the bushnell pro x2 for a few years now and can’t imagine not using one. Magnet is a great addition as well.

Have the old Bushnell Pro7, but after like 8 years the button got a little fussy. So I got the new Precision Pro HD9. Great laser so far, though sometimes locks up on a bad yardage, you have to give it a 10-20 second rest and try it again. So going back to a Bushnell V5 would be nice, especially a free one.

I don't have a home course & only in the last couple of years I've started using a free phone app for yardage & score keeping. Would love to use the V5 though. So accurate and convenient. Another great video gents. The content & quality keeps getting better and better. 👍👍

Just qualified for the club champs! Need one of these in my golf life. ! Use a GPS watch that works well but can be a bit of a faff to gain exact measurement to pin locations or penalty areas.

Currently use a GPS watch which obviously only gives an approximation of distance.The bushnell is much superior and ideal for the more "aged" golfer with the apparently telescopic lens and advanced visibility features.

I have just plumped for a new Garmin watch. Was toying with a range finder but I like the easy glance down at the watch and I am just not precise enough with my distances to get the benefit of 2 or 3 yards of more exact measurement. That said, it looks a lovely bit of kit and I for one would be delighted to win it!

I have a cheap copy with slope which is pretty good. It does struggle in certain light though. Bushnell would be lovely. Signed by you two of course. 😉

I have never used a rangefinder, partially because I never thought I was accurate enough to hit whatever number I've got, but I do like the idea of knowing how far to hazards. And also knowing how much elevation changes the shot I am going to hit. Maybe I'll take a closer look at them. Thanks guys!

I currently use a Callaway laser that is very basic but it has still made a huge difference. I also have Arccos so my distances are dialled in very well!!

Earlier this year I bought a V3 off someone looking to upgrade. Playing today knowing exact pin distances made a difference with GIR even with approx up/down adjustments. However playing mainly after work the optics in the new one would be hugely beneficial. Fingers crossed 🤞

Hi, I'm currently using the tour v2 so I am looking to upgrade but not sure which one, v4 or v5. Your review gives a great reason for the v5 I.e. better optics in low light or sunlight, great feeling in the hands etc. Slope version also looks good.👍👍👍👌

I ordered a V4 yesterday, waiting for that arrive. I have a Garmin S20 but I think the rangefinder will be a nice thing to have to quickly check a distance, and I find it might be valuable on the range at my local. Knowing how far the targets they have set up will be good to know for my pitching consistency. The V5 is certainly improved, but for me the V4 is more than enough for what I want.

Would love one of these. Anything over 150 yards and I am guessing where the flag is on the green. Plying partner bought one last month and he is dialling everything in now. Would love to be able to zap bunkers/hazards and know whether to take them on or play short. Great bit of kit and top prize chaps.
