Business 101: Ban Mobile Phones
When you setup your business. Ban mobile phones from the office. I know you wont and you'll regret it.
Unfortunately you can not ban phones once you've started, a "see how it goes" mentality. You must ban mobile phones from the outset.
Your staff will waste countless hours answering and looking at their phones. In todays world everyone is addicted to their phone and your company may fail if you do not have a hard stance on this.
They do not need their phone. They can check it at lunch break. The world survived just fine prior to mobile phones. It can again.
If your staff pushback. Ask them if they want their dentist to check their phone? Ask them if they want their taxi cab to check their phone? Their surgeon? Their bus driver?
You'll be happy you made this choice and I also think your staff, in time, will be happier.
