As a BA. how much tech skills do you need to be successful? As in understanding coding languages, and computer science? Surely, if you're telling businesses what to do with their IT systems, you must need to be quite confident with IT?
Your videos are really enlightening. I am a senior analyst in Banking domain with end to end knowledge in Corporate Lending operations. How should prepare myself to become a BA.
I would recommend to take a crash course & explore yourself on youtube... Some of my videos may help you, trying to post more videos in near future. (or you can follow my website: www.myprojectanalysis.com) Good Luck!

I am 2017 btech grad, I would like to be a BA , I got good communication skills and I think of myself in an office managing stuff. I would like to have a mentor to guide me through the right path. Could you help a young guy trying to find his path?
Sir, thanks for your information... I need know is whether MBA is must for BA if it is means please mention the specifications and it can be a part time stream...
First of all Congratulations for completing BBA! You can find lot of scope in Business Analysis career. If you start your career as a BA you can switch around several roles; like... If you have good "communication skills" you can lead to Product Owner or Project Manager or as a Scrum Master. If you have minimum "technical skills" you can play around as system analysis or Data Analysis. Good Luck!
@@myprojectanalysis Thank you sir for the reply, I don't have any tech skills , can you please list down the career opportunities to become Ba... Other than the IT sector...
@@Innaikuennamenu If you want to be a BA, it is not essential to have a Technical Skills, there are number of options to achieve... Gain some domain knowledge such as Banking, Finance, Healthcare or E-commerce... these domain skills will help you to collaborate with the respective business teams to document "Business Requirements" for Technical folks. But in order to make this possible you need to follow certain process & Procedures, that is what, BA is all about. Get trained or go around youtube for better understanding! Meantime you can refer one of my other video which might be interesting. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o4g0_Cu-WXw.html Good Luck!
In simple terms... Functional requirements are nothing more than functionalities of the application/product, such as functions performed by specific screens. You need to identify "Data" to be entered into the system & how the system behaves when you enter the Data. Ex: Project: Online Shopping Website Business Requirement: "Saving and Naming the Cart" Functional requirement: When customers visit xyzshopping.com, they should have an option to save and name the cart. FR should define or cover at least these following points (All the points cover Data to enter): 1. Who can save the cart (Ex: User should Sign-in) 2. How can user become the Customer (Ex:Signup) 3. What makes Customer to save the cart (Ex: Atleast one product in the cart) 4. Requirements to Name the cart (Ex: Name of the Cart should not go beyond 13 characters or no special characters allowed) 5. .... Hope this helps, Good Luck!
BA does have scope in future. But since you have CSE, I recommend to start your career with coding, if you are unable to sustain then jump to BA. Good Luck!
