The reason their union is asking for 35% pay rise is so that their wages match inflation rates from where they'd stayed stagnant so long. If the government had I don't know, RAISED their pay when inflation went up, they would be at the 35% up pay. They're acting like the doctors are being entirely unreasonably. The doctors are saying 'we've done the maths, and if you had just raised our pay over the years to keep up with inflation rates it would've been 35% more than before. So we want you to rectify it and give us that 35% pay raise'
