If you are using Office 2013 the option to export the side as an image is found under File / Export / Change file type

@ Trevor Easton Thank you so much. Great tip. Question : When i print out the ppt in business card, it comes out washed out. I cleared the compression settings, still print comes out pretty bad. When i snip it into ms word, it comes out okay. Any suggestion?

Gday, Trevor, Firstly, sincerely like your spirit and style and giving back. Good on ya mate! Now to the business cards. I'm with you to the point that you export the image. Adapting pre-defined Powerpoint formats is a brilliant idea. However I would suggest using Word rather than PPT for final layout for the following reason: label makers such as Avery offer for free a Word template that exactly matches the printing of their fold-and-tear business cards.

Hi Trevor Easton first time commenter on your page/ blog & also my first time watching your video tutorial I really enjoy this tute' & you explain everything very well & clearly & I like video tutorials like this; cuz I want to do/make business card that look perfessionally made & I could find any tutorials on how to make them this way until I came across yours & I love this technique that I'm willing to try this tecnique in creating business cards. Unless you plan on printing your own cards with your inkjet desktop and trimming them out yourself, Powerpoint is NOT the tool to use. Powerpoint is slide presentation software and is optimized for such. It has NO output options required for professional or commercial printing. For business cards, flyers or brochures that need to be printed professionally and in quantity use Microsoft Publisher instead.
