Had an amazing experience flying from Vancouver to Singapore on SQ47 in February 2023! The service was top-notch, the food was brilliant, and the friendly staff in premium economy made the journey even more enjoyable. Despite a 2-hour delay at Vancouver Int Airport, Singapore Airlines went above and beyond by providing extra meals and snacks during the flight. Thumbs up for a great travel experience! ( and a bonus: my carry-on wasn't weighed at YVR Airport by Singapore Airlines )
After flying SQ, everything else is kind of a disappointment. Qsuites/Qatar a close second, but Changi has the edge with an awesome airport. Yeah the seat can be a little wonky to sleep in, but the size of the seat, entertainment, food, ground crew, and especially the FA's make up for it 1000%.
I had a phenomenal and great experience with Singapore Airlines from SFO- Singapore Changi for business with There A350-900 ULR I flew both Premium Economy and Business and now for long haul flights I have to fly business!
Singapore Airlines' services seem amazingly sumptuous and nifty with business class on a long-haul flight. I have long craved for a service of this calibre.

I did exactly the same flight in May 2022 when SIA still had the A380 on this route which offers an even better seat in Business Class which converts to a flat bed without the need to get up. The food was top notch and the crew super friendly. And the A380 is so much quieter than the B777 so I could sleep without ear plugs which is not possible in the noisy B777 for me. The best thing was that we could use the Virgin Atlantic lounge at that time with our business class tickets which unfortunately is now gone and reserved for SIA First Class passengers only. or you need a certain credit card That is kinda sad.
We fly Singapore to Thailand from Cape Town but in March will be our first time we fly Business Class....we are super excited 😁. Thanks for the video 👍
Compare this video with the Qatar Airways Business class. They have been 1st for some time now (apart from 2023), and have won best business class with skytrax

You should definitely try Delta One (767, a350, or a330) versus United Polaris (767, 777, 787). Make sure you look for their long haul product, as they also run these aircraft on domestic flights where you wouldn't necessarily get the full experience vs international product. They’re the US’s top 2 business classes. United has a better ground product (easier check-in, fewer delays than DL, and of course their famous Polaris lounge- very exclusive), while Delta maintains a better soft product (catering, in flight amenities, etc.), but by a very small margin. I’d love to see you try both!
@@johniii8147 They do in their own respect, but they're consistently ranked below DL and UA. I don't think there would be any point in doing it. But hey, maybe a trifecta would be good for an interesting video.
You've not tried the older business class especially on 777-300ER...back in the days, they're far larger! Even larger than other carrier's first class!! But this one is great too

@@ericstruk correction, I meant to say that Turkish Airlines only has it in their 787 and a350, Singapore airways uses it for shorter flights, when Turkish Airlines uses it for all long haul flights. sorry for being incorrect
Hi Erik, I have to agree Singapore Airlines, wow it has to be amongst the world's best, incredible, I also got the chance of a lifetime to fly Business class but with Emirates Airlines and they did not disappoint either, it was amazing, the attention to detail in Customer Service Outstanding. Also comfy seats, though my flight was only 4hrs 30mins, the food was also divine, the crew also give you the choice to turn the lie flat seat into a bed, but I did not try it, it was a morning flight mostly. But the seat does lie flat and doesn't have that awkward foot rest area. I could easily catch some good ZZZZ'S if it was a longer flight like say from Dubai-Melbourne or Sydney Australia, As for the EK Business lounge in Singapore, I guess to access it you need to be travelling with Emirates or Airlines that have interline agreements with Emirates.
Just found your channel! I love how you mostly review economy class but I also love how you have this regular guy in business class vibe. Looking through a lot of your old videos, love the airline v airline…but I would LOVE to see a reviewer do different classes in 1 airline. Like…is the extra $$ for Econ vs Premium Econ is worth it!
I flew singapore airlines from ny to malasyia. And even tho it was economy it was still a unreal experience. They gave icecream at night, the meals were delicious and more. I also took a red eye flight from ny to frankfurt and had the best sleep ever. Totally recomend. 5 star review.
Gave up my aeroplane for 20+ years and went over to SQ Kris Flyer, made Singapore my base. SQ is miles above Air Canada. You should fly out of Singapore, catering like book the chief, lounge, check in all very much different and better than any Canadian Airports.

Oh I’ve had one of those flights before. When I was flying from Los Angeles to Beijing, my whole family fell asleep except for me which I just stayed up all night and then afterwards it just felt like daytime straight away
I've flown many times throughout my life. My best experience on every airline I have flown on, EVA Air and Singapore Airlines business class were top notch. The only cons with both airlines was service at LAX. As many times as I have flown out of LAX, regardless of the airline, I feel it is more the culture of the airport than the airlines, even though they should hold a great deal of what happens regardless of where ever they serve the public. As far as Singapore Airline's other seating like economy or premium economy? If you are like me. Don't choose seating near the lavatories. 🤧Back to my last flight with Singapore Airlines. I pretty much loved the business class side of my 22+ hour flights. If I had any recommendations for the airline? Work on LAX check in customer service. It comes nowhere near the service level as in South Korea. The other thing I would strongly recommend is "please" work on making it less confusing for layovers. I was thoroughly lost and confused trying to figure out where my transfer gate was going to be.
I should ad. My last flight with Singapore Airlines. The business class seat was so comfortable, that I didn't get up and walk around as much as I should have. You should always walk around as often and as much as you can. For your own health.

Surprised the airline checked the weight of your carry-on, never seen that. Usually the size of the carry-on will be checked if the bag loooks too big to be carry-on. The ticket agent had no business asking you how long you will stay in Frankfurt, that would be asked by immigration when you arrive in Frankfurt. I have seen reviews that the airport side of Singapore Airlines is not very very good, while the cabin crew is the best. Surprised you didn’t get a welcome drink.😊
