Never thought I'd be hearing this song performed by four white men, but they really laid it down, I was impressed.

Fantastic Cover guys!!!! Very true to the feel of the song, Would have loved if you had a serious bass singer on the I wanna know... But it isn't necessary. Just what I hear

These guys do an ok job but some how their version depresses me while the original is super uplifting. I wonder what is missing?

It’s the soul belting vocals that it’s missing. They hit the notes though!

@@wadebunn8583 and the high pitch background vocals also missing, but great work either way.

It sounds technically correct, but also somehow missing some of the soul of the original? Does the original have a more off beat groove? It just FEELS different somehow!? Also are the highs higher, the lows lower, the dynamics larger (going from whispering to screams), and the emotions more intense?!

All the backup vocals of the Parliaments really gave this song "that vibe". Which of course was the result of the genius of George. I think this is a great rendition of this timeless song:) To me if you remove an element, it changes things a bit but this was meant to be a stripped down version which I think they did a great job:) Any new versions of all these old gems that they produce these days helps to get it back out there for new generations to enjoy a current twist on it too. Keeping it alive:)

I'm embarrassed to be a millennial. You tried to make your own, but severely bailed. Sleigh Bells completely ripped it off and sounds ten times better.

Well...I heard the Sleigh Bells version, it’s a sample not a cover. Anyway the original is the best of course
