Busking Episode 37: Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real 

I come back and happily enjoy him and his songs even more if that’s possible! These locations are perfect for him. ⭐️🌻💛. He’s kinda perfect.

Saw him in Denver and Boulder recently and was blown away...great shows! We requested that he play For Real...the TP song that he did with some other amazing musicians, and posted a video and it was played all over the radio...so in Denver, we held up a sign that said...For Real, For Tom....and he said that if a great one, and said we need to learn it for Boulder. Well, they played it for the first time...which was very cool at the Boulder show the following night....I posted that video.

Just got to meet him standing on a corner outside of Antone's in Austin when the band's car pulled up and they all got out before he and the band performed on Oct. 11th. He was so kind take a bit of his time to say hello as he was on his way into "work"!! That concert...well.....it was the best I've seen. I've seen great legends: Eric Clapton, Jethro Tull...musicians like these. Lukas is going to be in the Music Hall of Fame one day. I won't be here...I'm 30 years older so the obvious will be as it is. But I KNOW he will be. He's the real deal. Legend on his way. So is every single band member.

I've seen Lukas and Promise of The Real a few times now. Every show has so much great energy. He is a natural talent, and a sweetheart of a guy.
