Thanks for your reply. I’ve just gone down the road of using a battery and a inverter. I have a deep cycle battery that is really heavy and big with a 300w inverter I’m possibly looking at 4 to6 hours out of it running time as I found a car battery drained fast with my system , and it was an old battery to start with. Good luck with the busking, I’ve not been out yet myself as I’ve have kidney cancer but I will definitely be able to go soon. I’ve had my surgery and in recovery now awaiting results. All the best 👍

I know this is no longer your performing rig but so much of what you do was forged on this equipment. These objects should be in a museum or otherwise preserved for posterity. On second thought, these are just tools an artist uses to express his soul. They will always shift with the times. But the constant is the evolving soul always moving closer to the ultimate goal. Much love Markus

Doesn’t this drain the battery out? I got to 15” EV BXT. I’m wondering if this will work for me?

Hello, marcus. I am planning to make street music too. The equipment I will use is one 230 v marshall amp, 3 pcs 12 v, device and voicelive 3. Do you think i should buy battery and inverter. or ups?
@MarkusK.
@MarkusK. 2 года назад
I have now gone over to a 12 volt amp because the inverter was causing too much noise in my guitar sound. You night be able to avoid that with a pure sine inverter

Have your ever had noise issues with modified sine wave invertor? I've heard people struggling with that kind of and they were buying pure sine wave instead to get rid of that annoying him and noise. How long does it last, how many hours btw?
@MarkusK.
@MarkusK. 4 года назад
Yes, I had noise problems and I have since gone over to a battery powered speaker, so I am no longer using an inverter. Totally clean sound 🙂 I will do a new video soon

@@MarkusK.Hi, whats the model of the battery powered speaker you are refering to?

Hi, good video, thanks! I have a question. If I use a battery like that to run a car amplifier, do I need to ground it to something metal, or just to the ground connection on the amplifier?

no idea

Very nice! Can you just feed your Wavedrum with 12V with no problem? I'm about to buy Wavedrum also and want to use 12V battery power supply. I know that originally the Wavedrum needs 9V power. What is your experience witht Wavedrum and 12V pover suppy? Works great?
@MarkusK.
@MarkusK. 3 года назад
Yes, works great, no problem at all. The Wavedrum is a beautiful instrument. I use it live all the time

@@MarkusK. Thank you Markus for so quick response! Maybe my question was not properly formed before... ;) In specs they say that Wavedrum needs 9V power. Can I just directly give 12V power to Wavedrum. Have you tested it also. In your video seems that you make 220V from 12V car battery and then you just connect your regular 9V adapter to Wavedrum...
@MarkusK.
@MarkusK. 3 года назад
@@MarkoKarja_SlapAsSound yes, you can power it straight from a car battery, which is more than 12 volts. I no longer use an inverter

Still thinking that weren't you afraid of ruining your device giving 12V instead of 9V?

Do you mind if I ask you how much you paid for the battery and inverter? My electronics store gave me a quote and I nearly died.

Totally noise-free

The smallest car battery should be around 59 euros a cheap inverter should be around 20 euros. If you can afford a pure sine wave inverter, you might not get a noise from the guitar sound. I now do everything with 12 volt batteries, without the inverter. Totally noiseless
@MarkusK.
@MarkusK. 3 года назад
That should 50 euros

Hi , thanks for the video , I'm looking to set an speaker and my voicelive 3 Extreme, I am a bit confused about which inverter buy, and also how you charge the car battery? Thanks
@MarkusK.
@MarkusK. 4 года назад
Hi Juan, thanks for your message. What speaker to use depends on what you are putting through it. My Behringer speaker is great for what I do, including guitar and vocal and percussion. You might want to test it out. For my system, a 300 Watt inverter is sufficient. It costs around 30 euros. You can buy a cheap battery charger at any home improvement store. Any more questions, let me know, and good luck!
