I preferred this over the first one, just because of the better rhythm, music selection, and smoother controls. I miss Gas-O but they turned Heat into the B-boy of the game vs what he was in the first game.
@@samuelbermudez779 in the original Japanese version of the game, the characters actually have endings, placed before the credits sequence. For some reason that was removed in the American version of the game. So Bi-O's ending, explains how exactly he got turned into the way he is and why Gas-O is absent. As for the lore, not much is explained about it besides this mysterious "Groove-tron" power from outer space and how each character plans to use it for their own gain. (something like that, at least what the manuals for 1 and 2 basically say, I think)
I remember when we found this game on a demo CD, for all the young kids that don't know.. When we finally got the full game it was just as fun as we thought.
no idea why, but as a kid... pandar scared the fuck out of me... I played him 1 time... and won... every time after that... I restarted the whole game... cause I didn't feel like getting freaked out...
Cool. Pretty dope like the first one. I didn't get the chance to play this one but from looking at this I'm sure it was as awesome as the first version. Thanks for uploading! Subbed.
You need to listen to the music, every command is splitted in 4 beats, you can see them in the command bar (3 beats in the green bar, and 1 in red bar). Try to associate them to the music beats, it's not hard, just listen to the music, watch the bar lights (in the center of the screen) and keep the rhythm. Btw you only need to hit the last key (usually circle, triangle, square or X) at the rhythm of the song, and that's at the last beat (the red one). So keep that in mind, it's not that hard.
Love that you used Gas-O's dad after your walkthrough of the first one! XD Enjoyed watching both of your walkthroughs of this game, it's been a while since I've played, I have both games at my parents place.
1 of my favorite games on ntsc demo disc 37 along with sydney 2000 team buddies and muppet monster adventure i was donated said disc by someone my dad knows along with 7 others during the ps2's early years:)
You just spoke Spanish! XD Anyway, I agree. The music was a lot better in the first game and the moves somehow seemed to transition more naturally. Also, the "miss" animation makes this game look a little too goofy.
I dont agree, I miss Gas O but this game had smoother rhythm and the music was more energetic, the stage turned alive, and the diversity of the characters bought Bust A Groove 2 to life.
What I liked doing was 2-player with someone who was good, but not quite as good as me. We would both rack up really good scores, and I would intentionally blow just enough moves to keep my score within 1000 points of her (while still winning, I am competitive after all). *DOUBLE FEVER TIME FTW*
Hi! I had the CFW 6.60 PRO-C, but I did what you said and installed the 6.6 Pro-B10 CFW and the game still looses sync at some points but at least is playabe. I will try a couple more cfw to see if there is an improvement or something. THANK YOU SO MUCH! you helped me a lot! Greetings fom Colombia!
Hi maybe it's the custom firmware you are using, I have a PSP3000 and I use "CFW 6.6 Pro-B10" (search it like that) there are a lot of guides and videos on the web that will help you installing this CFW (it's really really easy).
hi! first of all excuse me for my crappy english... i instaled the two bust a groove in my psp (1001) many times and i just cant get to play them with the music and the game perfectly synchronized. after some seconds the music and the game simply lose synchrony. can you please help me telling me if you did something to make these games run smooth? and if you did, can you tell me what did you do and how?... i want to play these games again so much and i REALLY would appreciate your help!!

I own the game (and I ripped it for this), but I can give you a link for my copy, just send me a message with your email (I can't put the link here, it's against the rules).
+Garry Rios Canayo El PS2 puede leer juegos de PS1 originales....pero hasta donde yo sé, no puede leer juegos copia de PS1, depende del chip que le tengas puesto.
