It's crazy how Ryan Decenzo is 37 and did 5 gnarly tricks and most everybody else 10-15 years younger than him got 1-2 tricks. He's insane

In addition to how crazy the skating is, one thing that impresses me about Bust or Bail, Hellbomb, etc. is how everyone keeps track of which tricks have already been done

Stanton showing up in the king's costume is the most on point thing ever. That dude absolutely opened the gates for doing what was possible on that ledge. back noseblunt and nollie back noseblunt are still hammers to this day.

Kickflip back noseblunt used to be the holy grail. Now some bro randomly busts it in a contest Skateboarding is unbelievable

The whole energy and hype during a Bust or Bail must be one of a kind. The biggest skate event I ever got to film was Go Skate Day in Vancouver which is probably similar. As far as skate footage theres nothing more satisfying to see than hammers being thrown down and hundreds of people celebrating each landed trick. Being from Canada I think it would be a far stretch for me to say I'll ever get to attend a Bust or Bail and film it but its still a dream of mine; Having huge skate events like this and Go Skate Day to look forward to has kept me going and got me through some major struggles. Hopefully someday I'll get to film a major Thrasher event like this, my biggest dream!!

This goes to show. When you get that many gnarly people in one spot with a big ole hype crowd at one moment in time… spots can be completely wrecked in the best way. Everybody pulls the best out of everybody and its beautiful. Some of these tricks are shit that can be talked about for decades and decades to come.
