It's makes like- other energy- Like this song in slow down version like makes it more dark and romantic I think. I don't really know, but slowed down songs make me sleepy/dreamy BUT THIS SONG MADE ME REALLY INTO THE STORY IDK
Hej hej, one of my friends loves slowed down songs; she's on the autistic spectrum & has a lot of anxiety so finds it very relaxing (think of it like slowing down your mood/vibe) while I'm ADHD/bipolar so I like sped up versions of songs (usually tagged as 'nightcore') as it helps me to get energy on days when I don't feel motivated. Music is a really powerful tool in changing your mood & motivation, so it makes sense that slowed or sped up songs can help to shift your mindset in a better direction! I hope that helps! Stay safe & stay hydrated!
Ok ok I got another answer from Google: “Music is all about getting someone to feel something. Whether it’s the words or the instrumentation, how does it make you feel? Love songs are almost always slow, right? I think a lot of that is because we have more time to grasp the notes. When a song is fast, it’s generally not about something sympathetic. It’s usually about harder feelings: anger, disloyalty, frustration, etc. Slow songs are usually about soft things like love or loss. These guidelines are, of course, not without deviation. There’s a lot of examples of a fast love song. But I do believe slow songs can soothe us, make us feel love and warm all over. While fast songs make us want to dance and tap our feet. I also think a lot of an individual's preference depends on their current mood. If I’m melancholy, I want to hear something slow. If I’m happy and upbeat or excited, I want to hear something fast and energetic. If I’m working, writing software, I want something very energetic. If I’m relaxing I want something slow and relaxing. In 2011, students at Brazil’s Federal University of Minas Gerais mined tempo data from the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, the Billboard 200 album chart, and the Million Song Dataset for a tempo visualization project. They found that from the 1940s until our current decade, the average tempo of our most popular songs fluctuated no more than 5 bpm, hovering between 117 bpm to 122 bpm. sonicscoop.com/2014/06/19/the-resonant-human-the-science-of-how-tempo-affects-us/“
100% just added to a Halloween playlist...so eerie I LOVE THIS! The original is amazing, absolutely one of my favorite Pomplamoose songs, but this is a whole different vibe
The supreme quality and melodic richness of Natalie's vocals is Sooooo clear in this slowed version! Wow.... Even more voluptuous than usual! ... not everyone can say that from their slowed and reverb versions..... 👏👏👏
I’m not a tiktoker so I have no idea what these trends are but when you released this song I was in my senior year of high school and now IM OLD AND THE YOUTH ARE JUST DISCOVERING IT
No that is not creepy at all.......... oh yes it is. Totally weird. Aaaaand I love it. Not really sure to laugh, or run for the hills, while still listening to this. Brilliant, in that different dimension type of way.
These remain the best song lyrics Pomplamoose has ever written. I do like this version for the eerie, menacing, and nervous mood it evokes, but the original was a walk-off home run that cannot be improved upon. Thanks, 'mooses!
