Fun story about this song. They delayed this song so much because busta and Em kept going back and forth. Basically competing to having a better verse. Here’s a video of busta explaining this situation. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WBopunZM1SU.html
You guys should definitely react to the new track that Busta Rhymes just released with Kendrick called, “Look over your Shoulder”. Probably one of Busta’s top verses of all time.
This is one of those songs you could analyze for months because of all the wordplay, double meanings, references et cetera. Good job catching the omelette/I’m lit thing. Plenty of people miss that one, including me the first time I heard it 😅. I’d love to see you do an old-school month, by the way. I wasn’t around back then and for whatever reason never really looked into the music from that time, so it’d be super cool to learn about it with you guys 🙂.
You should do a reaction to Busta Rhymes and Kendrick Lamar look over your shoulder. It's a really good grove with the MIcheal Jackson solo from back when he was with the jackson five.
Not sure of you guys are doing reactions so, but either way.. A great weekend of bingeing or a dupe reaction series would be Netflix's docu-series 'Hip hop Evolution' A total throwback and 100% hip hop schooling.. You guys should check it out for real.
But it has a better flow, in my opinion. I like listening to "I'll hurt you" a lot more than to this when driving. This one just confuses me too much 😅 (Especially why Busta used "Fahrvergnügen"! Makes no sense!)
I'm definitely on with the old-school-month! How about "An Old School before Christmas"? Or simply "Christmas Carols"? Yeah... sorry. Not so creative right now
