@@davidbeltran8571 I don't do top 5 lists cause it's too easy to leave people out and too many people trying to dispute your list. But I like KRS, GZA, Rakim, Chuck D, Redman, Busta, Immortal Technique, etc. I'm not a fan of Jay-Z, Biggie, and Tupac so they'll never be top guys (FOR ME). Please don't try to argue on who I left out, etc. I like a certain type of rapper with certain content.
I'm very impressed how he knows all the lyrics by heart and how he does not even have hiccups on the fast parts. Also loved the host for celebrating what he is just witnessing!
I listened to this on my headset, full blast and apparently I must've yelled out a couple of times from excitement, other people in the house came up to see if I was OK🤣 THIS WAS EPIC
His energy is contagious. The fact that he still remembers his "Look at me now" verse word for word is why he's a legend. Rappers nowadays be mumbling songs they just released a year ago🤦🏾♂️
That's why they invented Mumble rap so they can literally just Mumble dumb gibberish and actually say things that aren't even words and these young kids be like that shits fire I'm like the dude didn't even say anything
sounds like it's because he actually loves his own music and making music in general. today's rappers only make cashgrabs and it's like they know it's shitty
I saw Busta and Spliff in concert and they're insane. It's just them on stage with a white back drop and they were in bright orange sweat suits and nothing else and they had the place going insane. Easily one of the best performers of all time. Just them and the music.
This guy is phenomenal. Talent, showmanship, one of the best artists of our times. Look at all the people around him, he turned the studio into a party without any special effect, just his talent.
Busta Rhymes is a true gentleman. I took my fiance to New York for our engagment, We are from the UK. Anyway i took my other half to a jewelers and we had to be buzzed in, on entering the shop we were confronted by two large black gents who immediatly raised there eyebrows at us and said " What's up how you doing?" believing in good manners we conveyed our good wishes back, it then occured to me that i recognised one of the black males and it turned out to be Busta Rhymes. I took the liberty of letting him know that i was indeed a fan and he was one of my favourite rappers. The man was very accomodating and engaging in a really friendly positive way. He asked who my favourite rap artist actually was which made me feel quite uncomfortable but figuring i had told him already that he was a favourite of mine, i also explained that i had grown out of Hip Hop a little and was more a House music/ Techno Dj and that, that was the music i was mostly involved in in those days, taking this into consideration i told him that The D O C was my all time favourite he asked me what my favourite track was of his and i replied Portrait of a masterpiece, to which he replied " it was a cool joint in it's day." He asked how we found New York and we told him it was a great city, and it truely is. He then said congratulations on our engagment and told us he would be performing at a club later that evening and if we would like to come along, he explained that he would put us on the guest list as VIP's. True to his word we arrived and we were let in as VIP's as good as his word. We entered the VIP lounge which was a who's who of Hip Hop at that time, we were star struck. Busta even took time after his performance to congratulate us again and bought us a bottle of Champagne and toasted our engagment. Wow what an engagment get away and all by chance. Busta Rhymes thank you for your hospitality and making us feel welcome. What did make me and my fiance chuckle a little was, and please don't know one take this as racism, we are a white couple from the UK. We whent to New York so i could buy her ring and get engaged, we did that mission accomplished big time, but we never expected to spend about 9 hours of our time there as guests of Busta Rhymes, two white folk culture shocked to the max, myself and my fiance were treated with nothing but kindness and respect, we had the odd couple of funny looks but on the whole a night we won't forget. Thanks New York. Thanks Busta a gentleman and very generous.
Busta has to have one of the most powerful memories in the world. Being able to remember ALL those absurdly intricate songs without any prep? Jaw-droppingly powerful.
His energy got me at Panera at my computer pretending to do work, but cheesing real hard with my arms extended like I’m at church 😂 Prayers please. Because I’m covetous of his energy, his lyrical ability, cadence, rhythm, HIS breathing and control, his creativity …AND HE HARMONIZING WITH HIS OWN RECORDING IN THE BACKGROUND…genious!!!!!! him being his own hype man 😂and yes them old man moves in between. Wait we about the same age, never mind 😂 love ya busta bust ❤
Bus a bus is just too good. Props he needs his crown now while he still around. Plus comment section is all praises to a great MC. Microphone Composer. An I'm from East Texas 903
Love Busta’s energy. He is always ready to put on a performance regardless of when and where. I feel like he learned at the knee of the groups of the 60s, 70s, & early 80s. He is the David Ruffin, Teddy P, Marvin Gaye & other legendary front men of Hip Hop.
Or. And here me out. They warn him in advance they’re doing this kinda like the ones that “free style” on radios so their brand expands instead of lookin like hot trash
@@shane6054 it definitely is. There's been a lot of guys that try to actually freestyle on radio and flop then get roasted non stop for it. They try to prevent it now. This is a little different but they're not gonna put someone on the spot.
Busta could have handled a straight freestyle trust that but there is truth to cats not being able to. You can tell he was like "mmm wuddeva OK les get it" but then really got into it lolol
@@limitedbom2206 try remembering every damn lyric to a Busta song. He rapped so fast . he was amazing in this because a lot of artists can't even remember their own hits let alone come up with a new one on the spot.
This is the busta rhymes I know. The last track brought out a total different side of him. This is talent, this is rap, this is Busta rhymes Some of you'll might not agree but he does it better than alot of these rappers you get today period
That's a good way of putting it. The older Buss was vibing to the younger Buss for a moment, and ironically when Buss finally reached the age of the presently older Buss, he said "I'm tired." Lmbo Classic session though.
Fuck yea! That shit got me hype as hell. And to the other guy that replied to you. Wayne.....yea he's cool.....BUT FUCK THAT BUSTA IS A DAMN LEGEND AND HE KILLED IT!! DUDES MIC AND STUDIO EQUIPMENT GOT MORE TIME IN THE GAME THAN WAYNE'S BEEN ALIVE LOL!!
That was when he released his first solo album. Leaders of the New School been around since 89. Busta is over 40 years old lol. Wayne barely pushin 30 somethin.
I've always been a Busta Rhymes fan, going back to the days of him with Leaders of the New School. Younger generations knows little to nothing of real hip hop.
When "Calm Down: kicked in, that look in Busta's eyes and his "Oh my god", felt like young Busta taking the wheel for a bit. The dude's been killing it for ages and with zero effort turns this radio studio into a nightclub. Legend.
I love how he started out like alright I’ll do it for you, out of respect. Started mild and ended as the wild, sweaty, fast busta we all know good and well. His own music brought out that ferociousness. Tremendous.
