Actually, to some point they are. It`s all about maintaining a positive image towards public perception. In this case that one is gone for Diddy. He still has his multi-million fortune tho. He'll just disappear from the limelight and enjoy his fortune in silence. He won't go to jail behind this. Meanwhile, the majority of people who made these people famous and rich are out here working a 9 -5 gig, barely making ends meet. Make it make sense.
Anybody that watched Diddy on the old hit MTV show “Making The Band” shouldn’t be surprised by this even slightly. Dude has been wild’n for decades. If you willing to demand 5 people walk on foot 3 hours there and back to bring you a piece of cheesecake, you’re probably willing to beat your significant other for whatever the reasons are. All that said, there’s a part of me who thinks that Diddy is a face and fall guy for a lot more people doing the same wicked things that he’s done .
@@MatthewMoscotto The wild, unpredictable and manipulative behavior he exhibited on the show made it not surprising when all of this we hear about him now, hit the fan. That’s basically what I was saying.
I agree on the infamous cheesecake scene. People remember it for that reason. The abuse of power and how he reveled in it. We saw what where he could easily go. Didn't trust him from that moment.
I feel vindicated. I NEVER liked Diddy. I took a lot of flack from people on my life. I was called a hater and jealous. I could see something in him that was wicked.
@@brianholland5447 🤦♂️ puffy is the one who told biggie to wait outside it was a set up but let me guess your gonna make up some excuse I’m 42 gen X so don’t bs me and okay innocent
@@augiegonzalez1082 I wasn't accusing you of anything. I'm 47. I know that Diddy was behind Pac's murder, but I believe Suge Knight was behind Biggie's murder. Correct me if I'm wrong.
A few things: WE aren’t ALL complicit - I’ve stood my ground against that culture all my life…I was raised to be a worshipper and that life is foreign to me. That doesn’t make me perfect but for that argument, I’m not in agreement with being apart of that culture. Secondly, the hotel had ‘a price’. This says Sean Combs was perhaps another payment in a long line of payments THAT DAY for behavior they set a price for covering up criminal behavior for the privileged. We are ALL guilty of falling short of the GLORY of GOD (Romans 3:23) - THAT is where we ALL need to repent and ask forgiveness from an almighty God. Hip Hop is just one portion of things that separate us from God’s love. This tape should not be shocking - it’s evidence of a sin life we exalted over Jesus.
This has always been known. Problem is idolization caused ppl not to see it. Grown men putting women and children in danger due to their fascination with shiny objects.
“Extremely drunk” is total BS and an effort to diminish the severity of the assault. Unfortunately, 90% of us in this comment section have been actually extremely drunk, and we know how debilitating it is. I’ve worked in the alcohol industry for years, this is NOT “extremely drunk” that is an excuse and cover up. He was sprinting and moving very well. This is rage and intentional violence. The fact he kept his towel on tells you everything about that BS cop out narrative. Makes me sick that anyone perpetrated that narrative. But also, makes sense that they would, right? 🤔
You’re 100% correct. That was not a man “under the influence” of alcohol or hard drugs given how coordinated and deliberate his attack of Cassie was, all the while having sense enough to hold on with his left hand to the towel around his waist. This was the rage and entitlement of a psychopath whose “property” was not just going to walk out on him. Does he ever get drunk and high? I’m sure of it. But this incident in the hotel was not the result of a drunk/high person acting “out of control” in an isolated incident where he legit doesn’t remember doing any of it the next morning. And it’s giving these psychopathic, habitual wife beaters “a pass” by saying it IS drug/alcohol induced. Just as u said.
I refuse to believe that members of the media (entertainment press, etc.) did not know about this incident and so many others. Gimme a break. This happened 8 years ago and we are just finding out. Why were people so afraid to go after this guy? Who's next? Jay Z?
Just a wild guess. I'm thinking he has known about the existence of this recording from the beginning. Someone has been holding it over his head and demanded a monthly or yearly payment of some high amount to keep the recording from seeing the light of day. Something must have happened where Diddy decided not to, or could not keep up the payments. I am wondering if that something was the FBI raids. Investigation looking into everything. Including where his money was going. So he stopped the payments. Realizing the money has dried up, the person released the video. It was reported that he paid the hotel $50k to get rid of the video. Videos like that just don't disappear, and can easily be copied.
@@DocMicrowave I think you're 100% right. The payments definitely stopped. But there must have been media members who either saw or knew about this and other incidents. Breaking this story would have made careers. Why did they keep quiet?
@@traceytracey3756 @traceytracey3756 Maybe. I just don't see why the feds would release it while they are still building a case against him if that is the case. Doesn't not make sense to me. I still lean towards the idea a third part had the tape and was extorting from him to keep it buried. It is a digital file from a CCTV DVR or NVR. It is nothing to make a copy of it onto a thumb drive or laptop and hold on to it. And it would have been foolish for Diddy to think someone would hand him a USB thumb drive and say, "That's the video. It has been erased from the DVR/NVR." There is literally no way he could have been absolutely sure it was not copied.
Not to imply that Cassie in any way deserved what happened to her, but she chased money and fame and gave no thought to Diddy’s character. Cassie’s boyfriend Ryan Leslie introduced her to Diddy so they could all collaborate on Cassie’s debut album. Seeing the opportunity to money-branch to a higher status man, Cassie cheated on her boyfriend with Diddy to chase clout, money and status. Cassie also had the opportunity to expose Diddy and have him imprisoned, but chose to settle for money, leaving diddy a free man to commit more crimes.
@@necallijones2790 where does that say in the Bible? If anything this is the freedom of free will God does nothing but work but your to silly and of this world to see that God never sits back and watches he’s actively involved read the book of job Understand how god moves listens and approves man 🙏🏼✝️
@augiegonzalez1082 ahhh the book of job the one where a God and a devil play with a man's whole life all over a wager. Loving God indeed. BTW: free will is the biggest lie in that faith.
This is much worse than the Rice incident which was very very bad. That woman Diddy Assaulted and kicked (while she was on the ground in a fetal position) was treated like an abused Dog. This is beyond disgusting behavior.
My question is: why is this coming out now? This happened 8 years ago. It’s as if they were sitting on it, waiting for the right time to sacrifice Diddy, in order to distract us from a bigger issue.
can you please PLEASE name these bigger issues: is it raising your family saving for retirement, who to vote for, finding a cure for cancer, ending the wars.., border patrol serving the MOST HIGH...WHAT are the people being DISTRACTED from yall act like people THINK about DIDDY and these celebrities ALL DAY..Please tell me what ISSUEs are we being distracted from PLEASE RESPOND
yup it's over for diddy , to raid you need a strong case to get the warrant. that means they already have not only strong evidence but witnesses ready to take the stand. diddy is going to get a 20+yr sentence
Omg! I am tired of people always blaming hip hop for this! This is about power and money. It has very little to do with the music. So how do you explain Weinstein, McMahon, or OJ ? You are blaming this crisis on hip hop when it is a societal issue. Diddy is not even a gangsta rapper. You and your guest are spreading a false narrative. It is more than just about hip hop. Put the blame on everyone who supports Diddy's outlandish behavior for years now. How did the video not come out years ago? Money and power! Allegedly, Diddy paid the hotel for the video. There is nothing new coming out. He has been allowed to do this for years because he can line pockets. People who witnessed his behavior should spoke out and withdrew their support. What a disgraceful act! And now there is no repercussions because of a statute. This woman does not forget this happened. She's damaged for life. How is there a statute for a psychologically damaging action. Hey, I guess we can blame hip hop. This is so much deeper than that. How can our laws let this go? Have money, have power and hip hop, right?
I agree with you. It’s deeper than hip hop. It’s what u said it is: folks turning a blind eye after witnessing him commit crimes, either out of fear of reporting him to the cops because they fear he will exact revenge against them for doing so. Or because he has helped their career and rise to fame and they don’t want to lose out on any additional future opportunities to increase their fame and wealth (via Ditty helping them even more). They don’t want to betray him by “ratting him out” to the cops. So his criminal behaviors continue to get swept under the rug year after year.
Whoever published that video of Diddy is a hero. He has done so much dirt in his career. And he's been paying off hotels, law enforcement etc to hide things like this for years. Yet after sending his private jet to the Caribbean with his evidence, and the case taking so long post raid, I was beginning to think the Feds and billionaire friends were in the process of sweeping this under the rug. Hopefully this gets the ball rolling and this demon is fully exposed and charged to the fullest.
I would bet that the Feds are responsible for releasing the video, which was likely obtained during the raid of his residences. This ultimate "diss track" from the prosecutors will ensure that no one will come forward and publicly defend anything regarding Diddy's actions or character. I also believe they recovered multiple videos incriminating him in various dirty deeds. An intelligent person would have destroyed such incriminating evidence, but it seems psychos keep trophies. It's only a matter of time before he's indicted.
What took so long for that video to come out. That's not heroic to me. Heroic is as soon as a grown man sees this video he takes immediate action against Diddy.
Hearing what he did over the Years, now seeing with my own eyes Diddy you really did it!!!! Diddy is a monster and he will be stopped there is a place made Especially for you Solitude was not made for man… HELL IS WAITING FOR YOU 🥴
I was a Diddy and Bad Boy franchise fan since 91/92 and I'm so disappointed in him. He was living the life and let greed and arrogance consume him into a demonic monster. It's sad all the lives he help ruin to stay on top of the game. Justice will prevail but one thing though...... he still has time to repent .
AOC to the rescue. It was sad to see that the top official was not versed in the parliamentary rules. Green was supposed to have been removed from the session, but she wasn't.
I have no words after seeing this, P. Diddy is a straight up Monster. I am a Native American and Black Female. Black Men with Daughters ,I have noticed are really looking at this horrific Video. Jason, never mentioned NO ONE CALLED THE POLICE FOR CASSIE. BLACK MEN WITH DAUGHTERS, NIECES, ETC FINALLY ARE ATTENTION! I stay single, if I am in A room full of snakes, some will bite, some won't. I can't tell which ones are bite Me.
@@craftingretired yes but someone still has all records, bills, employee records. Generally it's the head of security, GM or the Owner. Former Owner in this case.
What Virgil is asking should be thought about because I have worked at a five star hotel there is no way a copy of that video was given for $50,000 without a duplicate. And this stuff is digital
50k is chump change, either Diddy's people offered that to an individual or vice versa. No way did the Inter Continental management would have touched that for less than a mil
Jason I know this bothers you as it bothers us good people. Thanks for sharing and shedding the light on this and helping us all understand and do right. Thanks Jason. 🙏🏿 📖
There's a lot more to "black culture" than this behavior. The problem is the media and entertainment industry glorified the bad actors making it harder for any of the blacks who do the right things every day get their voices heard or their faces seen.
I stopped listening to rap when I heard "gangsta rap" for the first time. That was a departure from what I grew up listening to in the 80s and I rejected it completely.
I understand your statement and truly wonder why people(victims) do not go to the authorities after the 1st or even 2nd time something like this happens. Why do they stay or return in the internet age of MeToo and Cancel Culture?!?
What a great episode having Virgil in the studio. The First Lady of Fearless was her usual self. Tremendous and fearless. Jason should stop apologizing what he is about to say. It is a sign of weakness and I know he is not a weak man. God bless Jason, Virgil and Shemeka.
Shemeka Michelle and Virgil Walker great additions today and every day. Shemeka Michelle you are always so dead on in your responses. Really nice to see people that are in touch with reality. Keep bringing it guys!!
To me it's clear that Diddy has been a federal informant for many years. There's no way that you do these things at this scale for this long with this many people and you're not in prison. On top of all the other times he is nearly escaped prison. We gotta stop acting like Cassie isn't complicit in all the activities in addition to heing a victim of DV and SA.
Almost-barefooted and half-naked Puff (aka Love) chased and ran down on Cassie, clubbed her, and dragged oh girl on the neanderthal-Fred Flintstone-caveman side of the game.
No, Today's rappers are not Hip Hop. There are very few Hip Hop artist today. The ones that do music isn't selling. It's more underground today. Hip Hop went on a decline in the 2000s.
