On the snow... Yes, sometimes snowbanks survive into May, and remnants into June. I lived through some 52cm snowstorms when I was in NB... Amazing how fast the snow collected off the road in the park that was higher than me melted, but the field was also ever so wet for about 1 to 2 months.
