8:47 The reason why you can and can't swap rails is that some are there so you can swap to go all directions but others are to continue the level so you can't swap on those
They should've made it adventure momentum style with better platforming and add a bit of level exploring. And instead of the boost maybe a spindash that u have to use in order to get to upper paths with platforming or maybe using the spindash to fly off slopes to get to this like rewarded area for exploring the level. But other than that the game is pretty good

9:50 I think it's because of where the rail is actually taking you. The one at 9:35 is leading you to a completely different section of the level, but the ones at 9:24, 9:50, and 10:35 are staying in their own "areas".
This is correct. We designed it so that most of the longer rail sections that break up the different areas don’t work both ways because it caused loads of issues with people trying to backtrack and getting stuck.
What device are you playing on? I played on an iPad, not quite sure what type it is, but at some points of the game it just got really laggy. It’s 1 or 2 years old now. Love the Content, Man!
Definitely awesome video, Chris! I'm actually confident that this video will do well at some point. But, wow! This video is really good for one of the first videos on this game on the Channel. I'm also hyped for "How fast can I touch each characters' color in Dream Team". But yeah I actually enjoy this one and found the first myth really interesting. We need more content on this game like this!
Because some of them are mandatory to go through the level and since other characters can go in diff areas sonic and amy can switch where they go since they dont have the access ability to change
I think i know why some of the rails you can't change direction because that big green and black dash ring thingy just go only pacific direction so that's the only rails you can't turn back or change direction but without that giant ring dash you can change direction i think that's why

I can't believe sonic fans have reached the point where they start to question whether these games have momentum or not, like no shit dude, all of them do. have they forgotten what franchise they're playing?? the momentum might not be to your tastes, but pretty much all of them do have it (yes, including sonic forces), so the question shouldn't be "is there momentum," but rather "is the momentum good/fun"
