This is incredibly satisfying to watch. My cousin has a creek on his property and around Thanksgiving we’ll partially block it off so a shallow pond will form that’ll usually freeze by Christmas, and all the kids can go skating on it all winter. Come the spring thaw, it’s awesome breaking the dam and watching the water drain out.
I wish someone would explain why you all get so much enjoyment watching the destruction of one of natures most beautiful and useful creations. Wetlands make severe weather events less destructive by slowing runoff during rainy weather and storing that water for dryer times going forward. GROW UP!!
Saw this in my recommendations and clicked it. In hope thatd there would be alot of post 10 comments. There are surprisingly not that many at all. Just alot of beaver jokes.😂😂
Anyone who has done hard physical labour can feel the strain spared in the back and shoulders with every grab of that bucket. That there is 8 hours physical job done in 15 minutes.
Lots of people do not realize that on the pond side of the beaver dam , it’s slopped very far out into the pond. That allows the dam to be rebuilt very fast. They simply start pushing mud back in the hole after the water slows down
Without trappers like myself you wouldn't have a highway or road to get to work on top of that even a railway beavers are one of if not the most destructive / land changing animal so.... it's all okay until they fuck up where you live ?? Ps bet you'd call me in a heart beat if that happened KILL THE BASTARDS u and your kind are all the same ignorant
Excellent work done guys. its 2018 almost 2019 for me viewing this sure hope things are better for ya now after all that work, though it didn't look like a lot of hard work, all the machines did it for you, haha.. thanks for making this video
Post 10 does unlawful dumping when he moves debris onto City or County property. It's also trespass because that property isn't his. When he goes to ponds, that's NOT his property. If he gets injured, the property owner is responsible for injuries. He has been notified on t.v. not to do this. The City can contact him. He STILL does it but not on RU-vid like before. He OBVIOUSLY isn't working. He's out there at night. Snakes are around. He recently moved straw onto the grass from the gutter when he cleared a gutter. That's unlawful dumping. Gutters are City or County property.
It's amazing how a bunch of beavers made that damn...they weigh at the most 50 lbs and it takes a piece of heavy equipment to remove it! It's something ain't it!
Jonathan Rush I agree. Unless it was sped up he’s getting er done. Now he needs to alleviate it downstream. Upstate ny they throw your ass in jail for doing that shit.
Is there a way to use the beavers' dams favorably for your needs instead of destroying them? I mean, it's free intensive specialized labor. Is it possible to outsmart the beavers and choose the sight where a dam in your property would be useful?
Giampietro Boldrin italiano. QUESTO È IL MIO GENERE PREFERITO PER VEDERE QUESTE ENORMI RUSPE CHE LE FANNO LAVORARE DA PER TUTTO. 😮😲🤔. FENOMENALI. OK OK.
The machine is nice for sure. It is just a small excavator. What the machine does is determine by who is operating it. Clearly this little excavator was being operated by a very skilled operator. No jerky all smooth and fluid movements. As for the Beavers if you don’t live in the area and know about beavers and what is required to remove a beaver damn just be quite. Just because a beaver can dam up a water way does not mean he gets too. In the USA and Canada we have done very well in letting beavers reconstruct waterways but it still require control. Nice video thanks.
Hello, I’m a beaver from the county environmental protection department. The beavers have filed an action claiming homesteading possession of this lodge under the 1920 Fraternal Lodge Agreement. And remember, only you can prevent beavers !
I like beavers and he natural world and things, but I really like seeing the work you do and letting those streams and ponds break loose! The damage they cause is unbelievable!
I always thought beavers created land in high Mountainous areas by daming up streams to create ponds that lead to lakes, and meadows Over time. All the wildlife in the forest benefit from the beavers Engineering skills.Moose, Deer, Bear's Wolves,Turtles.Ducks, Frogs, Fish, And many more Creatures, Even the lndians knew how Essential the Beavers and their Dams were to Life in forest, When Beavers are in the forest it's a thriving forest, They're dispensers of God's gift H20. Post 10. Use Discretion with the Beavers.Capeesh. P.S.They help keep Water in the Mountains, a Positive in a time of Drought.
