I, in my resume, worked with a group that bought storage units. They would allow me to fill up my van (or bring me a trailer full) and they would split the take. Then I went indy and started going to live auctions for my stock. I gave it up (but still have a LOT of stuff) when I had an 18th century English child's rocking chair (worth about $150-$200) and could not even unload it for $10. This was in 2004-2006. Yeah, some people think their stuff is gold (or gold plated) (even some thrift shops). Know what the market is and don't stray from the line.

Listings in my area on marketplace people want to charge new price for 10yr old crap. They will never sell stuff priced like that. The idea is to get rid of it and only way to do that is price cheap.

Whoah normally I don’t comment on camera work but this was all over the place - you need a chest harness or something to stabilise the camera - or just remember you have it in your hand before throwing us up and down as you bend down to look at things 🤪!

I had my bike stolen and I liked that bike I got it for my birthday but the next day after it was stolen we were driving and my dad saw some bikes at a yard sale so we stoped and I got a new bike for $10 and it was old but I liked it and it was in good condition.

First off you guys are one of my favorite RU-vidrs and what I've learned about yard sailing and the more expensive ones go to at the end of the day and most likely they haven't sold anything so most likely you'll get them at a great price because they'll just be happy to sell something

That's so true practically all the time. Go first thing as soon as a sale opens up to get what's really good, if the price is right or a steal before anyone else does to better your chances to get what you're looking for, to collect, decorate, etc.. Then go later to see what didn't sell for the same reason and for what you want or what catches your eye, etc., and see what they price it then. I've done that and more times, yes, it's worked. Churches are the BEST at lowering or even giving away certain items for free at the end of the day of it's last sale day. That's also worked for me a bit better. All depends on who's selling, since one never knows what the seller decides.

I have a number of them. My daughter got them from various family members, friends, etc. She older now and doesn't play with them anymore, let alone care much for them, just grew out of playing with dolls. At least I don't think she cares much at all. Now begs the question for me, and will fine out to see.

Yard and Garage sales don’t bring hardly nothing. When you have one you take what you can get. I hate when I have a customer to my garage sales ask about an items how much I ask them what are you willing to pay? They’re like I don’t price other peoples stuff so I shoot a low price and they say to much so I say ok you know what you are willing to pay so what’s your price? Nothing they just walk off

I have a 10 or 12 inch pair of Piccolo and Goku figure walkie-talkies I will send you for your decor when you move and open a PO box. I bought them back in the 90s when I worked in a home office in the basement and my daughter's bedroom was on the 2nd floor. I used to love embarrassing her by using them saying "Piccolo calling Goku, Piccolo calling Goku" and then asking her to do something stupid like preheat the oven or flush the toilet, when her friends were over. I know you guys will put them to the same stupid good use we did. :D

I use too do my own yard sales. Got so tired of people buckle and finding me on $2 or $1. Then get me too reduce then walk off. My stuff was always clean , not broken and priced too go. Had a lady ask why are you prices so cheap?. I'd rather sell it. Then drag it back in the house.!!

I'm 48 so I didn't know much about Pokemon, I resently bought a Nintendo 64 at a yard sale because I had the game "gauntlet" and wanted to play it . I almost didn't buy the N64 because it was Pokemon themed and I wasn't into Pokemon, it was the only one I could find so I paid $40 for it and took it home . I wanted another controller for it so went on eBay and my jaw hit the ground when I saw what it was worth !! Im keeping it ! So you can definitely find gold at yard sales !
