What i heard was that herobrine is something that notch coded purposely into the game, you see, herobrine was notch’s brother, they promised each other to make a video game together, but then, herobrine died irl, so notch added a figure into this game they planned to create

There's another way to find headless Steve there's a very glitch minecraft called error 422 and u can no longer gain access to it normally but if u manage to gain access to it go into 3rd person and u will see headless steve
