I love the fact that she lived in that same apartment for so long, she was originally a resident there before it became apart of the Chinatown neighborhood as seen/suggested in the movie. Oh and the younger actor who played Harrison Ford's character should have been chosen to play Han Solo in the movie.
This movie needs a novelization. The movie skipped so much potential... i still loved it. But i also loved The Time Traveler's Wife(the movie). I fell in love with it. Till i've learned it's based on a novel. After reading that, which was 1000times above the movie... that is what i need here as well. To live through the MC, every heartbreak, every relationship, every pet, every emotion, every loss. The movie had no time, it only hinted on those. A book could explore more. Even change the outcome. I needed smth much deeper. The only things that made the culmination amazing was the amazing acting and the music.
This is such a compelling film. Takes a "what if" scenario to weave a story and underneath it all the themes of love, loss, sorrow and above all the loneliness and disconnect of being ageless keep playing out....awesome movie !! Unfortunately, Hollywood makes less and less such movies these days
Is that William's portrait in the beginning?? It looks exactly like Anthony Ingruber. If so,, it's incredibly heartwarming that she remembered him for all those decades and memorialized him in her home.
