Well, I guess it depends where you shop. The prices are definitely better if you are shopping for higher quality grass fed beef from whole foods. But, probably a bit more than if you are just buying what ever is on sale at Kroger or Albertsons. I like the convince of knowing I have a variety of items I can choose from in my freezer when I plan on cooking something up. Also, when they run sales (seems like every week) prices can be amazing. ;)
