It is hard to ignore the majesty of the whole roasted bird. Every time I cook a turkey for Thanksgiving, I find myself thinking.... Why don’t we do this once a month!!!

I just did the same recipe again last night, injected half a pound of butter into it… great add🤙🏽

Sucks that Kamado Joe didn’t have an early Black Friday sale. Would’ve loved to use one for thanksgiving. I’ll pick one up if they have a good sale on the Big Joe 🤞

I usually Brine mine over night-wet brine. Any reason not to? Also, how long did you let it rest? Looks delicious!

Bland? I thought some sort of brine was generally accepted as a basic requirement. Curious why skip that, in some form. Even with a bunch of butter…

I don’t wet brine…. Occasionally i will dry brine and I often inject half a pound of unsalted butter. Take what you like from three or four recipes and make it your own ⚡️🤙🏽
