I have been leaning butterfly for 4 Months now and keep on coming back to this amazing video, the style is so so so beautiful and powerful at the same time. So motivating. Thanks!❤
I've been trying to watch and learn Butterfly since a month, but couldn't get a video that could explain and show this clearly. This is the best. Now I'm confident that I'll master this technique. I wouldn't mind treating the swimmer and the narrator after I've mastered this technique.
TortueGenial1000 Patience, focus and dedication will surely give you the desired results. I'm in the same situation as you. I'm sure I'll master it one day.
Thank you for posting. I wish I had come across this a year ago when I was forced to teach myself this stroke. I managed to figure out a form of it that gives me decent propultion, but now can use this video to locate deficiencies in my technique.
It's easy to learn the technick of the legs with a mermaidtail for beginners after a half month u will know the whole technick but u still need the arms ur arms only ne3d to be straight and relaxed
Such a beautiful/elegant stroke when performed by experts. I could never do it and, hilariously, it was only when with the benefits of youtube and seeing underwater video that I realised it was actually 2 kicks per stroke. Makes all the difference. Haha. This is one of the best for me for seeing the whole stroke underwater and for your clearly explaining the different phases. Thanks very much.
Este video lo eh visto unaus 20 veces. Es es el mas perfecto y coordinado. So se ingles por tanto me eh guiado por los movimientos, y mirarlo seguido.bendiciones.
Oh god, the way she moves. It is just utterly extraordinary. Love this vid, and love the swimmer. I taught myself to fly via you tube and watched hundreds of clips here, no other swimmers are able to swing hips on the stroke part like she does. ADORABLE.
L❤️ve the way the video breaks it down completely as you can watch every aspect of technique while you listen. Timing of kick and body position KEY to butterfly . This was a Very GOOD Teaching tool . You should watch it over snd over and over , studying every little detail then go to the pool and try it !
Thanks a lot for this awesome video! I have watched it so many times and the swimmers are absolutely amazing. btw, the lady swimmer must have magical butterfly power that her cap change colors ;-). I guess one day when I swim as well as her, my cap will turn colors too...hehe.
I have been watched this video since last year and I can do it now and I was so happy..... Thanks a lot for you Mekay...... I am from Indonesia...... Now I am still learning backstroke technic...... God bless you.... Never give up..... Always...always....practice.... That's the point to be succes.......
natural rhythm and timing which is very important especially breathing coordinations. I've watched this few times ...it is very similar with Michael Phelps' style.
This is really great butterfly. But when your hands leave the water your finger tips should be touching your belly button. If you keep swimming with your arms going all the way around it may damage your shoulders. It's also faster to swim the other way.
Oh yeah--I love this clip. It provides a great review. I remember great tips each time I view it. Thanks! I notice that the swimmer's head extends during the non-breathing stroke as well as during the breathing stroke. Makes me wonder if I do that when I breathe every other. I'm really old (57) and I hope I can do this stroke for a few more months, even if not as well as this youngster. It helps me to mentally rehearse from push-off to wall-touch before each length. I hope eventually to "fly" 50 yd before imploding--my new year's res.
this is a much better butterfly stroke video, I have watched other videos, some even showing a so called " perfect butterfly" but it looks worse than this. This is much better, I can see the body is gliding nicely like a wave through the water. Its not perfect but its better than other videos I have watched on youtube. It's good enough..
