The guys can't play, so they compensate by jumping spastically around the stage. At some point Ayla will politely tell them she is moving on. She'll have her pick of top talent to work with.
i disagree watch their live show on kexp, they all can play. you can't even hear the rest of them besides ayla which isnt an excuse. She's playing a slide guitar which is normally used as a solo guitar. They're all talented and as close as they are i doubt ayla will leave. She's just extremely good at what she does. Also Jack plays base so you can't really expect it to be as loud as ayla's slide. Without one there is none. They all need each other and they're all the back bone of the band.
In every discussion about the band there's people saying that they cant play at all or that they are all equally insanely talented. None of it is true tho. Malcolm is a very solid drummer, has a nice groove. Jack has some good basslines on the record, although he's not a shining light for the band. Finn can play the basics and surely will get better over time, same with his voice, I think it has potential it just needs to be polished which is done by performing and practicing. The new song sound like it has more ideas than the ones before, we'll see how it is. Ayla is insanely good, but she's in a band with friends, no reason to leave.. They are still kids and people are judging them... Who care's that they got exposure because of Finn's acting ? Just let them have their fun and get better..+ it brings a few teenagers/kids towards rock..
Come on. The most important thing is that Ayla is having fun with her best friends. She had another band, and they’re awesome too! But it’s really just that she’s having a good time, and enjoying playing music with Malcolm, Jack, and Finn.
