Your videos are so soothing! Would you consider making a video that’s just one long clip, with no cuts? It would be great to see the process in its entirety :)

Absolutely! I always want people to enjoy the process but sometimes it can get rather lengthy, so I edit together the most satisfying sections. I'd be happy to do more real-time videos if you'd like to see them!

Oh fantastic , it reminds me of my art studies . I loved linoleum engraving . That's how I once hurt myself with a knife on the train home working on a project , I couldn't wait until home ... maybe I should do it again , it won't be so smooth I think after 24j. Thanks for the videos I love the colors

This is amazing! I imagine that once you are able to, the long flatter blade is really satisfying to use, just sshhhhhhhhft, a long strip gone. Did you ever carve a lino just to carve it?

I like your work. I am a beginner. May I ask you a question. Why are you painting the Linocut board. Is it easier to carve?

I'm not too sure about the reason, but my best guess is that the bright pink makes it a lot easier to see where one should carve. The standard light gray does not have as much contrast to the transferred motif.

@@illustratornamedkasperplus theyve said it has the added bonus of being able to tell each design apart in their camera roll due to them switching up the color with every lino carving

I'd recommend you buying anything that works really. For a beginner, it's not about the tools, it's more about just getting started!

It's a linoleum square.

You can get them from most hobby stores with a decent selection. Just ask if they have linocut supplies.

@@afjer thanks. When I first posted that question, it seemed like there was something cloth like on the backside of the lino and I know some folks use alternatives to so I thought it was something else. When I rewatched I can see it’s just a rough edge 😇
