The boxing media and casual fanbase has created of narrative surrounding Shakur. That narrative will never change. It doesn't matter if Shakur becomes a knockout artist, it doesn't matter if he's involved in slugfests, they will always move the goal post... And we all know why.

But Loma doesn't have to do any promotion of his fights or his name. Let's be real Loma is pushed as one of the greatest off his amateur record. The culture that Shakur exists in and the need to generate a buzz causes him, at 24 to talk too much because he has to. No one wants to fight Shakur, Loma turned him down and then took the easy route with Kambosis. There are very few videos out there criticizing Loma for not fighting Shakur because he was taking a break and then coming back to a fight Kambosis first. We have to be real, Shakur isn't a knockout artist but he has to generate a buzz or folks won't watch. Loma doesn't have to say a word and Top Tank never questions him or asks him questions about fans booing. And Shakur is just as technical but just doesn't get hit and that makes him boring.

Biggest difference between Shakur and Floyd is the combination punching. Floyds can put together nice combinations even with a low punch output for a whole fight.
