Why dose it come with supplies that make only 5 buttons and the machine is $100?

I want to buy this machine, but am concerned that it may not be on the market for very long. That would make it really difficult to buy replacement parts if something goes wrong while I am making buttons. I also worry because I don't see an option to buy a medium sized insert on the We R Memory Keepers website if I somehow break the medium sized insert. If this machine is going to be made for the long-term, it would be pretty cool if uniquely shaped inserts could be created, like heart or star shapes. That would really set this product apart from others on the market because presses to make things other than circles are crazy expensive.

Like everyone else, I love WRMK tools. I anxiously waited for its release for months since it was first announced. Disappointed that it doesn’t 100% work as advertised. The button press works well with the medium and small buttons. Definitely a FAILURE for the large buttons. They don’t crimp all the way around. Out of 10 large buttons only 2 came out nicely, the rest were trash. UNDOUBTEDLY the design for LARGE die and its components are flawed as well as possibly the Mylar provided cut smaller than needed. This is not operator error. I watched the tutorials and did it just as recommended but still did not function as advertised. To top it off, I have been unable to find buttons for purchase, seem to be out of stock everywhere. I don’t understand how WRMK could not have been aware that the large button components didn’t function at 100% before releasing it for sale?

So mind blowingly complicated...

This thing does not work. This video helped to use it a lot so kudos for that but the machine itself isn’t good. I made twelve of these and only 4 turned out right. The cutter doesn’t cut and had to be finished with scissors. The buttons themselves would squish and now the blue base on my machine is locked on and no matter what I try, I can’t seem to pull it free to switch out sizes. Don’t recommend.

got this for Christmas and just telling anyone who gets this in the present or future: MAKE SURE YOU SWITCHED FROM THE A-SIDE TO THE B-SIDE WHEN YOU ADD THE PIN BACK. CHECK IT TWICE. this thing IS good but you need to be patient and also paying full attention to it! i realize i am far more patient than most people can be expected to be (having a nearly 10 year old cookie clicker save does that to a person) so if you're impatient you might wanna look elsewhere, but if you have the gusto, this thing works wonderfully. also start with a medium button, the small ones are a beginners trap cause they ask for SO MUCH MORE ATTENTION.

you make it look easy but it's not. you need a lot of arm and hand strength. if anyone suffers from arthritis don't buy this. I had to return it back to HSN. I love we r memory keepers but this craft toy gets a thumbs down, sorry. You can't use buttons from any other company other than memory keepers, I also didn't like that.

Very disappointed with the results and this is the worst product ever. Circle Die is not working properly. It must be cut with scissors. About "small" Button Shells: Tried 10 times, but all 10 are squished. Why not improve?

I've bought this, last week, for my daughter. We have tried but we are disappointed with the results. We have used 80gr paper, could be because of that? The pins don't seal very well and the transparent disk stay wrinkle. Could be a defective machine? In 5 pieces we obtain only one, correct! What is wrong?! Thanks in advance for your help....

They have it pre order here in Australia. The only thing that put me off so far is the cost. The unit itself isn't to bad but then you got to buy all the attachments and pins. My son asked me to get one so I could make him and all his gamer friends a pin each. When I seen the pins come I packs of 4 for $12 here in Austria it o Works out to be $3 a pin and then i got to get all the parts to make it.

this does not work,because the transparent paper doesn't stick to the paper and the bottom part doesn't stick to the pin

I recently bought this button maker and I absolutely love it. It is so easy to use and I am having so much fun creating pins. I can’t wait to create custom pins with my great nieces (ages 5-10).

Soooooo, there are a lot of steps missing from this video. You don't show how to apply the pin backside or the foam or the clear plastic cover. I ordered the bundle from HSN and I'm sitting down trying to figure this out between your video and the included paper instructions which are pretty thin on substance. Oh and the paper pack that was supposed to come with my button press as a part of the HSN "bundle" wasn't in the box. So if this happened to anyone else be sure to call HSN customer service and let them know. They gave me a $19 refund/discount because of this oversight. Hopefully WRMK get a better video or better instructions together or people will just return these in frustration. I've seen a lot of frustrated reviews on the HSN website already.

You should have explained how to line up the backing. I wasted and made so many mistakes

Would this be able to do other shapes or is this only for circles? If you can buy different shapes then that would be really worth it. I do love the idea of it. I can't wait to see it on HSN b/c I know they will give all kinds of examples and show you how to use it.

What paper do we print with to make buttons is it sublimation paper ??

I have changed this machine often and will soon change the model because the same problem arose after about 5 thousand pins: the piston goes down crooked resulting in bad pins, I haven't found a way to fix the problem

I'm having the same issues a lot of other people are having. I did contact American Crafters for assistance. But yes, the image does not stick to the button and I have gone through two button tops already. So hopefully someone will help me!

I did get the WRMK bundle on HSN and am having difficulties getting it to cut and then for the button to crimp around the pin....do you have any videos to share as to how to make it work spectacularly....my husband is a Tool & Die Maker and is very strong and couldn''t get it to preform correctly I really want it to work HELP!! Thanks !! YOU ROCK!! I have just about everything that WRMK has made and love everything and it all has worked right out of the package from the small tools to the sewing machine to the typewriter I mean I have the punches the Foil Quill the new Ink air brush ...I could go on and on LOVE WRMK just want this to work so bad with out having to push so hard because I can't and my hubby couldn't even make it work and he's very strong. So many tedious steps just to make one button. How much does this tool & the accessories to make the buttons cost?

I WAS able to sucessfully complete a MEDIUM size button. But, as soon as I tried the SMALL ones, it was one FAIL after another I didnt squish them but instead the metal never stuck to the other papers, and the papers got folded into a fun bottle cap shape around the edges. Has ANYONE else had this happen or know what I could be doing wrong? HELP MEH! Trying to complete series for my niece before her Bday! Very soon...
