I love all of these items that you have made and seeing this l bought 8 wood ages ago and I didn’t know what l wanted to do with the woods so thank you for your ideas. I look forward to doing some of your ideas!
8:35 if you don't have the rubber feet you can slice up a wine cork and nail that to the wood instead (i used hot glue at first and they ended up falling off). Worked well for when i made one for my bin so i could place a fan on top. I also cut the circle about a quarter way in (so I had two different sized semi-circles) then glued fabric on (with both pieces pushed together to make the full circle), that way it made a makeshift hinge so I can still access my bin without removing what's on top!
I like watching Hometalk. What I do not like, is some of the negative comments. Hometalk is giving you some ideas of what you can make, using different Materials. You don't have to make it or paint it the same the way. I like the suggestions on how they made it. They are giving you a base idea, so now you can get Creative and design it your way. Enjoy the videos.
Very clever & cute metal-leg table. Looks just like what's popular in home stores right now. Just be sure nobody mistakes it for a sitting stool ~ ask me how I know, OOF! ,,_\🥴/_,, 😂
Thanks for the ideas. All easy, cheap, and cute. Great for adding interest and functional pieces on a budget. But, for the lamp shade table: With that pattern paper on top, turn the buckle to the back. With the buckle up front, choose something western to put on top. I'd use a brown belt and something with horses, cows, or cowboys on top. A light spray of clear coat vinyl on the lampshades? Would that work or would they discolor when wet??
Those lamp shades and a belt look hideous and so tacky. Of course these are also the same thing over and over again. I keep waiting for new ideas but they never happen. Get over yourself people before you complain about my comment on here. It’s RU-vid and if they didn’t expect all kinds of comments, they shouldn’t be in here! 😂
How about taking the tag off the table before you stain it grey and then clear coat it. Also might want to do all the way around the edge if you're going to display it. What a mess as far as I'm concerned.
I don’t know that many DYI-ers that actually save money on their ridiculous projects. For example: Round from Home Depot $15 and wood stain $15, paper-towel holders and jute cord from Dollar Tree $5.25 Ummmm you can buy a decent one from Ikea at that price point and save time. 😅😂
Great ideas, one problem , by the time you add up all the additive costs to Make it. you are far better off to wait when College student toss out all the Furniture to the curb, and get Free End Tables, or wait till middle or end of month, when people MOVE OUT. or after people are done with their RUMMAGE SALE. Many will just put it out to the Trash.
Doesn’t****^^^ & I’m so confused😂 why would they not? They sell LUMBER. They sell all different types of wood rounds; in pine, birch etc and in diff sizes. 💁♀️j guess the US Home Depot’s are just smarter and better! Hey,that’s my country though, smarter & better than the rest🤭🙌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wood round = $15 Paper towel holders = $30 Other hardware = $5 Total investment = $50 plus time Side table that is more sturdy = $25 Not a win! Not bothering to watch anymore.
It's not a repeat for people that have never seen this video don't be one of those entitled bitchers just scroll to something u haven't watched or seen
