While this is true and a great way to get OP stuff very early in the game, you WILL get tons of money and crafting parts to make the best weapons EASILY by just doing the optional dungeons. I have now crafted 6 ultimate weapons and can afford to craft more easily. I sit on 1 million right now - I would suggest doing 2 stars at the start and then wait. why ? you will be able to recruit tons of people to your island which you met through the story. will make it much easier and fun to let them join the island later instead.
Once I started doing Honolulu Haunt, I found it's a more efficient way to level up, get weapon crafting resources, and make about $140,000 if you can make it through 20 floors, but you need to be around level 30 to do it. As a bonus, you can take a new job to it's special move while doing it. The island is a good low-stress way to earn, but you end up with only money.
there is a skill called money sucker from the maid that u can use to steal the same amount of money (if u stole from everybody) as u would get if u would have killed them so double the money
@andreloon6027 Does that work on the encounters that pay out $10,000+. That's where the Haunts really shines as the harder encounters pay out big, like I think the 20th floor boss fight pays out $50,000.
First for platypus: if you go to the lake in the evening you can find fireflies. Second for general things that i have found: adding buildings to face the road can give you extra money. For myself, in my mind at least this is giving me more money but i have on one side of the island elegant and rustic and the other side is sleazy and pop. I try to put all the people from those preference types in the same area as the buildings and they seem to spend more money and most of them are max happiness even without the campfire.
I didn't mention putting buildings to add money or raise satisfaction as it seemed to fall into the category or tutorial the game teaches you but I am aware. There seems to be a critical mass where you can have more than the guests can actually use and I didn't experiment enough but I'd rather have them use satisfaction up buildings to get them maxed out before leaving. You are not the only one who left s similar comment though so it definitely seems I should have mentioned the building bonuses
From what I have seen it don’t matter as long as it’s connected to the road, so you don’t have to worry about where your guests are placed they all still build satisfaction at the same rate as long as there wants are satisfied
@chriscalvat that makes sense. I wish the day cycle could be sped up when you get to 5 stars. I have things sectioned off because I'm not sure if people who wanted certain styles would interact with those item types more making them spend more money. But you might be right. Since the check boxes for critters / items they like is checked and you don't need to gift them this is probably the same concept
@purplatypus7405 that makes sense. Satisfaction coming up is important to the final bonus. I honestly think I might do a cycle and literally just stand there the entire time to see how much the community spends for the time they are on the island.
@@scubasteve5326 I pass the time by running around catching fish and bugs to sell and checking on the farm, another good way to make money is my crafting and selling love hotels since they sell for around 300,000 dokodoallars
True... Numbers really requires you to build things in a bad way. It leaves no room for creativity. Considering what the island will be used for, numbers is all that matters since there is literally no purpose for anything else. Great video! When i started this, i was stuck wondering if playing out this island was worth it.
idk, will it be the better way to farm money in the end game, like millennium tower in yakuza 7, but as for me, poker is the better way to farm then dondoku island
Basically its going over how much money you get from completing dondoko Island so people can decide if they do or don't want to do it. However I do agree this is a bit more clickbaity than I am comfortable with and does not explain what you are about to watch in hindsight. I will change the title.
I'm new to this game but quick question how do I equip a different weapon. Im in Hawaii on chapter 3. Right now I have the self proclaimed bat equiped. But I bought a heros bat from a shop and a wrench because they had more attack damage. However every time I go to gear to equip them they don't show up. I remove the self proclaimed bat from my equip and all that shows up is novice bat. None of the weapons I bought are showing up to equip. What gives?
I think you have a slight misunderstanding. You didn't buy the heroes bat but you 'crafted' it by using the self proclaimed bat as a material. Which means what you already had on you must be the hero bat itself
i made the mistake ad sold the weapons you get in drink links, it came out you needs this weapon to make every best weapon for every standar class like taxi driver, detective and such, can i buy this weapons somewhere again?
The maze dungeon is so much better. I grinded millions there starting from chapter 6. I got to 3 stars from the island. It was fun but I got bored eventually.
I actually found dondoko island is the best money farming game , because you can actually watch some tv series, while the money will be farmed almost automatically
i get you wanna be one of the first with videos out so you get more views and/or engagement, but you should try to maybe write out a script. and also dont know very much about the stuff your giving people info on. i checked out more then 1 video as well
I just do youtube for fun. I don't enjoy writing scripts or editing videos so I don't really plan to do that. As for knowledge it's true I don't have perfect knowledge of some of the nuances however I'd say for the most part the information is accurate and easy to digest for a casual person. Thanks for watching.
i can respect that i guess, but in that same place, why make sure to rush out a bunch of videos then for the views and engagement? if youre jus doing it for fun you dont gotta be one of the first *shrug*
@@joejappy I am not trying to be first. I am just getting to a point of the game that has something I want to talk about then making a video. No rushing or anything just making stuff as I go through the game at my own pace. If something seems efficient or worth spending time on I like giving pointers to those who might not be as far as I am.
