*_THIS_* is an *Excellent Idea* for a pre-draft discussion. Aside from it being that by its very nature, something has occurred to me lately. No matter what you think about this year's QB class, what do you think about _next year's?_ GMs may have started to realize that not getting a QB this year means not getting one next year either. So what about the teams we thought might trade down? The Pats or Giants would now be locked in with who? Bailey Zappe, Drew Lock, Daniel Jones? For the next two years? & is any GM making such a decision gonna get to keep their job for two years? Likely not in N.E, under Kraft, right? So who can the Vikings trade up with now for a QB? ONLY the Cardinals? & what would it cost them? At worst, only 5 teams tops _"need"_ a QB with the Jets only getting one to plan for the future or an injury. The Vikings might still get the 6th. But not the Broncos. Having said all this though, you know what's funny? We're stressing for nothing. 6 QBs for 5 teams who need a starting one & one team in the top 15 who really should draft one in case. You may not get the one you thought you wanted, & the one you thought you wanted may turn out to be a bust, not the one you get. Weird, hunh? This may all cancel out any need to trade up _for a QB._ I get the feeling though that Poles & the Bears will want to try for MHJR.
