Dress shoes especially can last a very long time. I wear Allen Edmonds because they offer to refurbish for a fairly cheap price but you pay a lot upfront. I still wear a pair that is over a decade old.
I love them too! If you can find a old pair of Cole Haans and Johnston & Murphy shoes they will help to complete the ensemble too! As you said, get them resolved, polish them periodically and keep a good shoe tree in them and they will last forever.
Rom, In Columbus, Ohio. Our outlet malls are at least a full length county drive away. The mall at Jeffersonville is 2 Countys away. I think that even though if the outlet malls were closer. The question they would ask themselves is: is the profits worth the bs that comes with negative attitudes from negative people?

You would think that at the end of the day, the "powers" that be would want to maximize profits especially with retail being in the condition it's in now. As they say in Real Estate.."Location, Location Location".
Yes you spend soooo much in the end trying to pay less in the beginning. 😭 By the time you buy the same shirt 👚 a few times you realize you should have just spent the money the first time lol.
