I consume more hours of RU-vid content than I’m comfortable admitting, and your content stands out immediately. Your relatable personality shines through and your ideas for videos are refreshing and refined. Please please please keep uploading. This will continue to grow. Also, Reebok can thank you for another customer.
2 years too late, but, man, that "you essentially have 2 pairs of shoes" philosophy really hits home! You perfectly summed that up. Glad to know I'm not the only person to think of it that way.
@@bagofhammers7479 ok thanks. Yea just by looking at them they do look quite narrow. Also by the looks of them, Stan Smith's seem quite narrow as well - if you own them, would you agree with that as well?
So funny how kids are attempting to be trendy with a "90s look", and the whole time I'm like, " this just how I've been dressing my whole adult life", lol. Never knew being born in 81 would be a fashion statement.
I really thought I was the only one that always judged their shoes from the top appearance while also being full aware noone sees them that way. Also funny I bought these in November same color and huge fan of blundstones
Great work, didn't expect to see something I actually have come up in your video lol. Not sure if you have the TV version but imo the more you wear them the creases actually make the shoes look better.
That bit about the two pairs of shoes was so relatable 😂 💀 As a matter of fact, this whole video was relatable. I was literally thinking of that when I was choosing between the Club C and the BB 4000
@@TheIronSnail Wasn't trying to be snarky. Seriously I bought these in 1985 and again in 1986. I never saw anyone else wearing these at the time. Then a few years ago I started seeing them in the stores again. I think they are probably more popular now than they were then. The styling is timeless. Just bought a pair of Club C 1985 TVs.
I feel like however much I love converse I can’t stop thinking they might be low quality as a highschooler I wore my chuck taylor highs LITERALLY every day and ripped even though I don’t play any sports and not very active. Maybe it’s that I wore them everyday and I’m not supposed to
Have two pairs one in white and one in black. I was gifted the white ones and when I needed black sneakers I went with the same in black off experience. Really nice and comfy and not trying to be in trend etc. I also have adidas and Lacoste in white and on a balance of factors these are the best!
I wear this shoe with Oxford button down shirt and paired it with Chino and slack pants. I look so sophisticated and minimal compared with those fast fashion street trend normies.
I literally was in stitches when you said about the shoes people see from different angles and the ones you see when you look down! I have had that issue my whole life so frustrating
bought two courts advanced and finally saw a c85 just like this one. god damn it looks so unreal.... i can't believe it. i should have bought it hours ago, damn
I love the 80's look too, I was rocking this look in 1985 (sophomore in high school). I pretty much were the same stuff and my wife calls it "Hobo Sheik". The video was entertaining, I was laughing.
“Are you wearing grandpa shoes” lol I’ve always thought this about Reebok. I was on the fence about purchasing these but I love the vintage look with a crewneck. Sweet video. Kept me entertained. I subscribed brother 👍🏽
I'm the same way about sweatpants! It took me 26 years to finally warm up yo wearing them in public and now I wear them more often then I care to admit. Covid wfh has helped to reduce my inhibitions I guess
I got a white pair of club c revenge and a black pair of club c 85. The club c 85 are perfect and the next pair of white shoes I get will be the club c 85 maybe with green detail. The club c revenge are just too 90s clunky but actually would make a good pair of non skate shoe skate shoe like a 90s etnies
@@TheIronSnail "I"m going to drop you." "That's great but could you drop me on this side? I don't want to the camera to see my grays...and don't step on those lightbulb shards. You'll hurt yourself." :D
what is the technical name of the color you chose? I'm looking at all the options and theres white, chalk, alabaster, paper-white - which are the cream color you have?
I don’t like getting a bright white shoe, cuz personally I think they look terrible when they get dirty. So I typically go for a more off white, tan white, cuz I think they don’t look as bad when they get dirty
You clown!!! 😂😂😂 Who's your daddy, Phil Dunphy? Subscribed ! You're an original masterpiece. Great content 👍 so much more than I expected. The subtext is wonderfully intriguing. Keep up the good work. You're vey intelligent.
Had 2 pairs, just chopped my 3rd tonight. Each pair has lasted me 3 years, roughly. Can't go wrong with them. Whole reason I initially copped, was my dad used to wear these back in the day. Saw a picture about 10 years ago with him wearing them, and I impulsively purchased. I will keep these in rotation forever.
The hell is this?! I came to research some Reeboks I'm eyeing and I got Michael from Theo and Harris. "Boots and jackets and all that stuff". all that stuff = Euphemism for the Zenith titanium chrono.
The heavy Carhartt plain sweatshirt with motif on the sleeve is the best heavy sweater I know also got a firm/tight crew neck. If anyone can recommend a similar crew neck sweater please let me know
I was having second thoughts (bad ones) abt my Reebok sneakers, however ur vid made me remember the reason I’ve chosen that pair in particular. Can we have the ref for ur watch? Thx
I doubt you'll reply to this comment but I still wanna ask if it's okay to pair it with 2000's style track pants (which is baggy) because i saw a pair of this but i dont know if it looks good with track pants tho. (I\ll be wearing it to a 2000's style theme party)
Dump her. Club C's look better than Stan Smiths. Stan Smiths are "person trying hard to fit into a moderately cool crowd" vibes, just like your girlfriend 😂
@@connorgreen5989 Stan Smith used to tickle my taint against my will with his boys. Eventually I just thought of them as a makeshift bidet after using the bathroom at school. There's a difference bw hating a shoe and going "Ew, Adidas." Your girlfriend deserves the boot and it's dawning on you.
Love the classic American athletic brand CHAMPION I’m from England a brand called Kent & Curwen do great sweats and rugby’s think as Reebok Classics have a British heritage they look really good together. Love if you did a Kent & Curwen review also. 🇬🇧 from an US to UK style 😊
