Really good video, easily the best beginners guide to property investment I’ve seen yet. Answered pretty much all my questions!! Will be checking more videos!
Fantastic advice Saj. I'm looking to buy my first property buy to let and have a target of 3 years to do it. Would love to pick your brain more in the coming future.
Checking area supply & demand is essential. Too often people buy to let where they want. Then realise they've got to join the long queue for vetted tenants. Then they get squeezed on rent so much that it doesn't cost in.
@sajhussain What a great video, Saj. Can you please advise a/some good mortgage brokers? for residential and BTL purposes I live in London and starting to begin my property journey but want to start from smaller cities. That would be hugely appreciated.

This guy is a mentor. No ads during his videos, straight up information shared and he isn't trying you sell anything. Whoever disliked this video clearly wanted a get rich quick scheme. it is ridiculous to consider that 95% LTV back in 2008 time; house priced have probably doubled since the crash and rental income is probably up a good 25%. Granted, interest rate for mortgage was probably higher but people must have made a lot of money who are selling now.
Hi Saj, love your channel. Could you please share a couple of sources with me please. A good mortgage broker and an accountant who is savvy with B2L company setups for the purposes of future taxation, i.e. A and B shares, etc. This would be really, really helpful and I'll be sure to mention you to all parties concerned. Thanks

Hi saj, quick question I have 5 years fixed mortgage if I wanted to remortgage my lease hold flat do I have to wait till it's over and secondly what is the minimum income requirement lastly what is the maximum money I can take out on remortgage. Thank you in advance
Salaam Muhammad, you can change your mortgage anytime but you will need pay the early repayment charge whilst you are in the 5 year fixed period. Income requirement varies from lender to lender. Important thing to do is to talk to a independent mortgage advisor. You can message me on Facebook if you'd like me to connect you with someone, @TheSajHussain
Nice. Hopefully we can see you in the office in the future for business purposes. This is gold mine for me. I own 2 assets, 2 plots of land with river frontage and i wonder if that will help me as a security. Thank you Saj

Thanks for the informative video! What’s your advice on whether to get an interest-only BTL mortgage or one with repayments to better shield us from property crisis that’s gonna happen at some point in time?
Good day Saj, I finally got my first investment property that I am managing a few cities away, its my mom's house. My question is, the tenants work Mondays to Fridays, they're only home on weekends, how do I approach the fact that I want to add 2 additional units in the back yard which will be attached to the main house, while the contractors only work Mondays to Fridays as well?
👏🏻 fantastic video that cleared up one of my queries so thank you 🤗. I do however have another if I may... I purchased my flat in Birmingham under the RTB in 2018 meaning it is still in the 5 year period with the council. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the resi mortgage & the RTB to match up (one would always expire before the other was ready) so I had to purchase with cash as I was concerned the government were going to pull the RTB plug & I didn’t want to lose it. I’ve moved out to my partners & we’re renting here as it’s so expensive to buy & I’ve refurbed the flat in Brum & it’s now tenanted....brilliant..but..I know I can’t get a BTL remortgage on it until the 5 years have passed but I’d like to pull the 50-60k equity I have trapped. What’s the solution please? I have no savings as everything is tied up in that flat. Possible bridging? Would I be able to use the flat as a second charge? Thanks very much 🤗
very helpful with lots of info. Nice pace, easy to follow and helpful. Do you know of any morgage companies that are good for remortgaging ex local authority properties. I own 2 outright and want to raise cash to buy more? Thanks. Keith
Hi Cohen, I would say a great way to get into the property market with no capital is deal sourcing. Here is a video which can help you on that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KVjL_RQOsf0.html
I work in Norway and get paid in Norwegian krone can I still get buy to let deals in the UK? I'm British and a resident. I pay Norwegian tax tho not UK?
@@TheSajHussain I think what I was trying to ask was, whether the residential mortgage would have any effect on/cause issues for taking out a 2nd mortgage via buy to let? Thanks for response!
Hi Saj.Is it possible to pay some bills with credit card for few months to be able to raise money on current account for btl deposit ? How the lenders look at this if manage to stay below 30 percent on credit card usage.Thank you
Assalamu Alaikum Saj! As we are planning to move to Belfast in coming months from China. Also planning to have our own home. So, come to RU-vid to learn about buying property there. It's been my first ever experience to watch your video about property buying. It's really helping. I hope I will definitely ask few questions from you after seeing relevant videos. I subscribed you. Thanks for such informative video.
@@TheSajHussain I'm currently 15 trying to work out plans for potentially a future career in property, any advice or things to do in particular? If I get an apprenticeship I should have £25,000 saved by 17 and six months old. what would you advise I do with that money at that age on the basis I could probably get my mother to host a mortgage. thanks, jude
Salaam Tee, I absolutely am and have some Sharia compliant strategies that we use. However, although the UK is probably the most advanced country in the West when it comes to Islamic Finance we are still very limited to the options available when it comes to property investing. If an enough people want it I'm happy to do a video on Sharia compliant strategies for making money from property. I'd also suggest checking out @IslamicFinanceGuru
Great content.. Bit of a q.. I bought at height of property boom for 150k up north. Living in the property and still have half to repay. What are my options in terms of releasing some capital if any. The property hasn't increased in value tho ☹️
Hi Spell, I would speak to a good mortgage broker and see if they can find you alternative mortgage products that may help you achieve what you want. A key consideration will be the current level of equity in the property.
Hi Saj, thanks for all the information ... am trying to start from scratch and hoping to start as a ltd company . will the mortgage be termed as commercial mortgage ? are they as easily available as the new company would not have any history apart from the seed money we put in as directors loan ..... also am assuming in this video u mentioned u would prefer to fo for 20-25 years term but will be remortgaging every 2-3 yrs to pull out more equity etc coz after fixed period rates would up
Buy to Let mortgages in limited companies are much more common these days. A good mortgage broker should be able to help you with this. You will probably find this video helpful - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uoGX5VdWnV0.html
thx a lot.... its so weird am almost 40 and just like u mentioned u had to wind up your IT for some reason at around 40 i am in similar scenario :-) hope my next 15 goes in learning and growing like yours :-)
Thank you for all the information. If someone is a tenant ( renting where they living ) , can they get a buy to let mortgage ? ( though LTD company) And also, what is the minimum mortgage for a buy to let mortgage though a LTD company? Thank you so much for all your videos, been watching your videos and they are amazing.
@@TheSajHussain Hi Saj, Thank you for your reply. Do you know or can you recommend a good mortgage broker? Once again, many thanks for all your videos. Really appreciate all your information and videos.
