Sunday service at Buyaga C.O.U. The theme was based on Exodus 3:7... " I have surely seen the oppression of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows."
In his sermon, the preacher of the day, Wilson Kwamya encouraged the congregation to turn to Jesus who can deliver them from their oppression. God saw the oppression of the children of Israel and remembered His covenant that he made with their forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God then sent Moses to go and deliver them from their oppressors in Egypt.
God is a covenant keeping God. The preacher encouraged the people to enter into covenant with God. The covenant of the blood of Jesus.
To do that they must accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
