They sale them for $1 when they are ending selling them for the season. They need to get rid of them and if they don't sell them quickly. The chicks grow very quickly and would soon be huge.
but this vid was filmed in february...end of chick selling season is normally april or may...these chicks were rather good size though so they may have marked them cheap to move them out to get a new supply of little chicks
@@kurokitsune9516 They only hold onto chicka for so long and then need to get rid of them before the next batch of chicks comes in. I got 14 meat chicks and 8 egg layers last year for $0.25/each
They can be a few days old onwards. I also just bought them in Mid August and they were just cleaning out inventory as the season is over. They were $1 each.
