Joey sukhi yeah, my dogs did that when they first met and you have to make them stop or else they'll bite each other and get jealous when you pet the "lesser" one
SHES NOT HUGGING HIM, dogs assert their dominance over another dog by physically taking the other dogs back. she's pretty much showing that she's the alpha in this bitch.
lol tru. I've been making vlogs like Banks for over a year now and I'm almost at 500 subs! It would be awesome if you checked out my channel and subscribe!!
LONDON is BADLY behaving showing dog dominance when forcing puppy between the front legs. You have to show/express the puppy is YOURS (watch a Cesar Milan show and see its a matter of showing attitude) that LONDON cannot/is not allowed to behave dominant towards the puppy (only you are) .. else this might end badly.
mtjoeng Cesar Milan is experienced when it comes to reading and manipulating a dog's behavior however he is not a reliable source to learn about dogs. He is purely self taught and it shows; he enforces the common misconception that dogs are pack animals and have a hierarchy system like wolves. This is not entirely true, dogs are more scavenger-like but with more social behaviors.
Dogs are the scavengers of the human pack (clean up human excrement f.i.), is the latest insight - Milan isn't always right but can be watched how to project dominance without saying a word or show any aggression, which is the correct way
But what about the episode where a couple admitted they prevented their older dog from doing this to the young new puppy, by shutting the older in a room, and now the grown puppy is a problem? Cesar said the older dog recognized the disrespectful behaviour of the puppy and was teaching it to behave. By preventing it from doing so, the puppy became out of control. I don't know but it seems each case is different. Cesar looked at a photo of the puppy on the wall at just 8 weeks old, and said his look was defiant (they thought it was cute and to me it looked like a regular glance) Just saying, that sometimes it's better to allow dogs to fight it out, providing nobody gets hurt of course and London was being gentle enough, puppies are tougher than you think, and they have to live together. Maybe London knows what's best, being a dog herself? When the puppy becomes submissive, London will stop. It's actually human interference that causes problems down the road, often times. But maybe it's best to consult an expert. Usually nature knows best, tho.
Banks we did the same thing with English Bulldogs our situation was the exact same and we thought they were playing. Now the older dog is blind in one eye and it's stressful having to make sure they don't kill each other because they won't stop. When London "Hugs" him London isn't playing she is dominating him and it all leads to one dog being hurt I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly how to fix it and only tell you the end result but it will more than likely end up with fighting between the dogs and one or both getting hurt take them to a dog trainer or someone else who knows more about the whole dog psychology than me to figure out how to stop it. Please help yourself and you dogs.
Riley Roller this is true to some extent as a big dog person I can say that they can improve the relation with some steps. If they can't do that then they need a trainer
