@@SoCal-AMG Thanks! I can't wait for better weather in Poland for first rides (46 F right now). The reason is money :) I bought almost new bike (3K kilometers on it) - for 2/3 price of new new one :D
Nice ride, congrats! Now ditch the beach flip flops for some biker boots and strap your helmet on properly...a motorcycle jacket and gloves would also be appropriate. Ride safe man.
great advice! I put on my sneakers before leaving the lot..I have a proper jacket with armor.. i'l be getting boots next week and knee pads and proper riding jeans for more spirited riding days!
Well.. The 2xl I thought was fine but it left a mark on my forehead.. The 3xl for way better.. It was still tight..I recently got a Shoei RF helmet it was 2xl and Snell rated
I learned my lesson with wrong helmet sizing. Wore two sized too big and my head was able to turn almost a quarter turn in all directions, only kept it forever because it was my first helmet. Finally got a small medium and it was snug and very little wind noise. 2021 third motorcycle is gonna be the gsxs 1000f abs if I could find one with abs. First non cruiser/vtwin bike for me. Got a 2014 Yamaha Stryker and its literally a chopper with a 21inch front wheel. Ride safe
That was so painful to watch . Flip flops and helmet half on . He might as well just drive to the hospital and donate his organs and save the EMS guys some time.

@@SoCal-AMG I love it! It is very fast and comfortable. I have not ridden it with the traction control off. It would be crazy powerful 😓. Too much for me at this time.
@@ReshardsAutomotiveWorkshop the bike is certainly comfortable and great for long distance, your 2018 version is a bit more powerful then my 2016, so do take great care when you turn off traction control. Make sure you have warm tires.. try it on level 1.
I do still have it...I don't love it anymore though to be honest..it's a reminder if not such a good day... When the time comes I will post the rest of the footage.

Out the door all in all about 9500... included taxes, extra warranty for two years.. if you can.. with used prices so high.. go new if you can.. Mine had just 1800 miles when I picked it up and was under msrp by over 2 grand..non abs version.
First bike I owned myself.. but I had experience before purchasing... I've gotten much better since I got this beast .... it isn't one for beginners . At all! Thank you man!
Nice bike brother , That helmet is way to big for you my man but you will know when you hit 150 , it's got to be really snug when new , defo measure your head because I've made the same mistake a couple of times , just looked way to easy for you to take on and off . I'm a 53-54 cm but was buying 55-56 in the past which is fine on a 125cc but going fast it will want to rip your head off 👀😆👍🏼👌🏼👊🏼😎
Thank you brother!! Yeah that helmet ended up being a tad too big… just a tad bit it worked well while I was a noob, I ended up getting a shoei rf1200 2xl properly sized lol
igorchak well the 2xl version that I returned was Snell rated... that rating stops at 2xl for first model..I needed a 3xl... so i'l have to get an entirely different helmet
Oh shit, try different manufacturers, you got the HJC? I know they run very undersized, I got a Scorpion helmet and it's a Medium for me, where HJC was an XL How do you like the GSX-S by the way?
igorchak yeah i definitly need another helmet..i have the HJC cl17..its good but very noisy in my opinion..maybe cause it cost only 215 with a small discount...they didnt push the best in my opinion..

maouloudou kane not a big deal, but a brand new bike have a big Suzuki sticker and GSX-S1000 all over the tank and fairings. I have one, blue 2016 model.

maouloudou kane mods, just about everything. Arrow header, power commander V, Racetech suspension internals are the major ones. Levers, fender illuminator, saddle man seats are some of the minor mods. It’s a fun to ride bike.

I'm thinking of doing a cat delete.. straight pipe it and put an sc project 2 brothers or m4 exhaust... will the be a drop in acceleration? will it need tuning? which exhaust would u recommend for bext sound? I also want a shifter.. up and down..
G R I love LOVE the bike so far.. glad I bought it.. only complaint is the choppy on off throttle.. gotta be very careful with that.. power and torque is great!
Cool! Yeah, last year it was your bike, or was looking at the FZ09... but really wanted that gsx-s1000!! Thing looks KILLER... BUT, as we were crunching the numbers, I happened to glance over, and saw a Triumph... and I bought that one instead... hahaha!! BUT I do love that gsx-s1000, and often think of getting it still. Thanks!! Enjoy!
G R i have been on triumphs before and they are great bikes i like them a lot..my uncle had a street triple R 750 with dual arrow exhausts that sounded killer...makes me wana get arrow exhausts for my phoenix...or an sc project after muffler delete..idk..so many choices man..lol
Helmet looks lose to me. Should be very snug, should crunch your cheeks a bit like a chipmunk, lol. Ideally if you go down it should not wiggle or move
@@SoCal-AMG oh good. Had me worried there. Hope you like the bike. They are brutal. Got me a 2023 gsx s1000 dressed in black. One of the best bikes I’ve ever owned!
