It’s running lean. On the throttle where the gold bit is in that tiny hole there should be a little back cap and u drill that out carefully and use the tiniest flat head screw driver and turn the screw anticlockwise about a half turn and it will make it run richer. Hope this helps.

Fun fact, i traded one of these and $150 for a 250 with carb issues, sold it for 700 and bought a 750 bobber worth 1k

there's a centrifugal clutch that turns that little gear. You could probably swap the one off your old bike onto that engine.

Aww, I want that dirt bike. I only got the cheap version, a regular bicycle with the plastic water bottle to make the engine noise, but sometimes it falls off.

run it on nitromethane, you will have to jet the carb up so it runs richer. but nitro makes a little under double the power that regular gas does.

open the gas gap when trying to prime it it has one of those gas cap stem cap things i put one of those in my 150r and it gave my trouble starting it was becuase it couldnt create enough of a vacuum to pull gas thru carb because of the lil gas cap tube cap

Sounds like the centrifugal clutch ate itself. Should be able to swap it out with another one and it run fine.

Take that gear assembly off and tighten the bolt that holds that gear

Theres two because what u dont burn gets sent back from carb and is meant to drip back into tank while the other sucks the gas

the 2 chain system is working to add more power cause engine is too small to motorbike

The chain falls off because the suspension geometry is not the best on those bikes so sit on the bike then tighten the chain

The carburetter needs to be cleaned probably the pep cock is plugged a bit. The floats probably need to be adjusted. Guarantee you the carburetter needs to be cleaned.
