Hi Christina, Happy New Year. Do you mean your P22 in the bi color? So half Deep blue/half vert bosphore? If so I think their new light mouette would be lovely in your picotin. Or did you have more than 1 picotin you wanted to buy an insert for? xx
Hi Mel, thank you for your reply. Yes I’ve got 2 Picotin 22, one in Etoupe, the second one is a bi-colour (Deep Blue n Vert Bosphore). Light Mouette for the blue Picotin is interesting. I was looking at blue electrique. I can’t decide for the Etoupe Picotin though. Can you help?
Oh I see, well if you own 2 then go for 1 tonal and 1 contrast. For your etoupe go tonal, their etoupe is a gorgeous match. For your bi-color, go blue electrique then as its nice to have a bright option :) I suggested light mouette earlier as its contrast whilst still being tonal (if that makes sense lol) but since you have 2 then definitely go 1 bright and 1 tonal. Yes, would like to see additional ways you are able to wear this on your shoulder. Also for your what fits inside part, I would like to see how a water bottle, mini umbrella, hard sunglasses case and a face sunscreen bottle might fit, and what you'd have to leave out to fit those things. It doesn't seem like you carry those with you Mel, but I can't go anywhere without my water and sunscreen!
I was planning to buy size 18，however only size 22 was available that time. I grabbed it immediately without any second thoughts because love it so much. Picotin is really a simple yet elegant bag. Ofcourse，exciting to wait Mel uploading new vlog about different ways in carrying Picotin
These are beautiful bags but having the bag organizer made me love it more because I could actually see what I'd be able to carry whilst keeping its shape.
Hello! I've a Picotin 18, orange and I highly recommend an insert, which gives shape but also it's easy-to-use and found out what you need without revolving everything (sometimes small bags can be tricky ). I do prefer the size 18! Depending on your needs (style or kind of life) I do prefer to complement with a tote or even a suitcase. And my choice had to be orange - it's so subtle Hermes - and, no less important, it makes me feel soooooo... girly! ☺️

I wish you also tested on putting a water bottle in the bags. It seems like functionally this would be a pro over my other bags which normally wouldn’t fit a water bottle

I think it’s all depends on how you paid the bag with your outfit. I own a givenchy bucket bag in red and looks like the size is more of 22 or even more and this one looks good especially in black or even white outfit, pants, dress, leggings etc. Btw, I really like this kind of video from you. Lovely bag and great vlog explaining the pros and cons! I'm just leary of it because it is wide open. I prefer bags to have some sort of closure such as a zipper; so items will not fall out and is protected from others who could try to grab your wallet, etc. Even large open air tote bags, unless I carry something large such as a laptop, I still prefer it to be enclosed. Happy New Year, Mel! 🎉 I agree with you it’s getting harder to lay your hands on Picotin in both sizes esp. for the more popular colors. Here in Thailand, it took my SA a couple of months to secure the one I was looking for, despite keeping my color options pretty much open.
