It's all money...if this was in Canada it might be an issue not because it's not certified but because of weight. Our dollar is a coin and 250k in loonies is going to be one hell of weight. 3417 lbs not to mention it's going to even more after the conversion.

accepting the money in cash was a smart choice because even if he lost an afternoon he got the amount he asked for and in all cases if he said no he would have to waste time with other people so he still earned it. plus he has free publicity for his business. I would say it is a win for everyone
