Sheds are expensive in uk too..security for a bike is paramount… sell what your not using and put towards your new one.or, find a craftsman to move and adapt wot you have to what you want…good luck sir.🇬🇧👍
The sheds prices where down and now they shot back up again. I will talk to Scott the owner and let him know what I'm looking for. Thanks Gary, those are great ideals, but in the long run I think it will be easier just to buy another one.
I have a 12 x 12 shed. It has plenty room for my Goldwing, my trailer, two generators and other tools. I have some shelving in the back corner for smaller items. Plenty of room. Enough room for small riding mower as well, but I would go with a 12 x 16 or 12 x 20 to be sure. I'm sure this would be out of your price range, but maybe you can find a deal.
IF (repeat) IF? you're up to doing the work...??? Even a little at a time with each step of process...You COULD get pavers to create a patio area in front of your existing shed & you already have loose sand in place...materials probably less than 2 shed payments depending on size you would need...12X12 aren't that heavy(15 or so lbs IIRC)....placing, spacing & leveling them can be a bit tedious using loose sand...I built a paver & sand patio about 16ft X 20 ft a couple years ago working by myself in extreme heat & humidity...Wrestling around the sand bags & sifting the ALEGEDLY stone free sand.(LOL!) to sweep in between pavers was a bit more time consuming than expected...Most work was clearing the spot of ivy vines, stickers & scrub bushes (looks like you would need any clearing) Heaviest work was pushing loaded hand truck of pavers & sand about 150 ft from vehicle to my work area...Just a suggestion since your sheds aren't filled up to ceiling like mine are...LOL!
Thanks flash, I don't the skills to do that. I did see a video on doing a dry pour for a cement pad. I'm thinking about buying a new one and maybe selling my green one. But I like having plenty of room in my sheds. Makes finding my thing easier. lol
Another suggestion = a few 4 inch diameter X 10 to 12ft LONG schedule 80 PVC pipe, farm jack (like you see the Jeep rock crawlers use) a few buddies & a truck + tow strap or winch ...or even enough manpower on reasonably level ground & move shed you already have to desired spot...??? Also IF your shed dealer is close by ??? They might not charge a huge amount to move the one you have with their equipment = same process as above from what I have seen but they usually have a tilt trailer with rollers & winch ...then drop on pipes pulling pipe 1 at a time from rear & add to front as shed rolls along to get it in tighter spots...Site in vid = as it appears they could just pull it up on trailer, move across your lot & drop it where you want, then level it all up...??? Also SHOULD BE less $ than a couple new shed payments ...especially if you schedule it on their way back from a delivery in your area...??? Hope my suggestions are helpful...
I thought my comment posted, but maybe I fell asleep... What about calling a landscaper and see how much it would cost to move it to where you want it.
I would check pricing for someone to level out and securely install more large cement pavers to those 2 cement squares just outside the entrance of Bumblebee’s current shed. Give you plenty of roll up/roll out to be able to put your feet down. Even park and turn it around. Woohoo! Maybe 8x8 or a 10x10. I bet it would be significantly cheaper than the price of a shed. It looks like you have more than enough sheds Mars. Just have to consolidate and get rid of things you’re not needing. Just my .2 worth. You’ll figure it out.
