I have not had any issues with them fogging up yet, is that a common issue? Yea I really loved the V star but it felt like it was working too hard when sitting at highway speeds, and the rear brake used to over heat when I took it down twisty roads. A 1900 would have been a huge change of pace, I rode an 1100 v star last year and it was easily double the power of my 650. I have changed the exhaust on mine to some aftermarket mufflers and I am much happier with the way it looks and sounds. Im not sure who the music was by sorry, I will look it up and see if I can find the artist :)

Wow really! Did they tell you why such a long wait? I had to shop around to get the MK2 paint but there are hundreds of the others in stock

@@PeelOutGarage well royal Enfield deliveries in india usually takes time and the pandemic also delayed everything and the demand is so high for these vehicles in india that the company usually asks for 1 month for the other models and the waiting for the 650 twins van go upto 4-5 months.

That’s insane! It could be that the demand is lower here although recently I have heard of you want something that isn’t in stock you will have to wait a long time.

They really are a fantastic bike in every way!

Thanks Peter! yeah I didn't think it was okay, its been getting better and I think the idle might be set too low. I will see how it plays out over the next few weeks. I thought that the booster plugs didn't work with the E5 models? that's a mod I want to do so I will look into that as weak :)

@@PeelOutGarage Hi, yes you’re right about the fuel booster. The Euro 5 bikes have anti tamper built in so a booster won’t work. Idle speed is just above 1k rpm on mine if that helps 🙂

Peter K thanks man, I was thinking about getting on of the aftermarket computers for it but I’ve heard the same issues occur with anti tamper. Worst case I might sus out installing a euro 4 ECU instead 🤔

I hear you, but considering these where designed and tested In England at the Royal Enfield testing facility in England I would have to say they deserve some credit for it 🤷🏻‍♂️

S&S Air filter & S&S Slip on's booster plug,Trip Machine Suede seat,R.E Sump guard,Enfield Precision Oil Cooler Guard & Chain guard from Hitchcocks.R.E Crash bars, TEC led lighting kit, Twinton Headlight bracket, Yss fork upgrade,Baak Side Stand Riser (20mm)etc... Have a look my bike on my budget videos.haha. Let me know if you go down Power Commander path or big bore headers.Verex a Tasmanian company makes awesome pipes 2-1 & 2-2 brushed & polished & will work with most slip on's but also do full systems.Check them out,high quality.

Ruahines Rider hey man, that’s awesome! I’ll sus out your videos 🙂. Yeah the plan is defiantly to work up to a full system, intake, cam, maybe a bore kit as well. I really want to look into aftermarket computers like the power commander or maybe even a stand alone ecu like a haltec. From what I have read if you try to change the ecu at all it goes into limp home mode due to the anti tamper on the E5 models. And the stalling issue seems to have mostly gone away, my thoughts are that it might have been due to the engine and driveline wearing in and causing more friction then normal? 🤔
