Buying a used Billingham bag 

The greatest camera bags. Expensive new but nobody makes them like these guys.

I just bought me a 445 for a hundred euro. It now holds my audio recording gear and I just love it! I'm still looking around on the secondhand websites for another one. They're really sturdy, built like a tank. Thanks for your review.

By chance, as so often in life, I came across your channel just now. I have a history with Billingham bags myself and cannot agree more about the quality and feel of these bags. I used to own the same bag as you reviewed here. But on a trip from a client shoot, it got nicked from my car with all its content: two Nikon D800s, a Hasselblad, light meters + lot of other stuff. As a bag collector (a bag hoarder, some would argue), I have several other brands, but my absolute favourites are Billingham and Domke. They are very similar in their scaled-down approach. For a long time since the theft, I searched for a replacement and finally found an old vintage one that looks exactly like yours. In travelling mode, right, and do not have this with me, but it is probably the same age. Thanks for reminding me of how splendid this bag is, and suggestions with liners. P.s. I bought the 550 almost 25 years ago and there’s not a broken thread on it. Plus it’s a tardis. The only thing is that I stuff it and then can’t feel my arms after a day out. Good luck with channel. Almost a 1000 subscribers. 👍

That Billingham seems like a real bargain. It looks like the one I have had for about 40 years. Mine could do with a bit of a clean externally but it's still bomb-proof. I think you're right about how long they last ... you'll probably have to leave it to someone in your will.

I got 2 Billingham 225 models and the first one i brought back in 2018 for £70.00 and recently i brought another one from car boat sale for £40.00 and it is in first class condition and not Been used at all
