Seems like it could be a good idea to get more of these cheap model 3s with full self driving. Down the road when Self driving is fully capable, use it as a robotaxi to make some money.
I got a used 2022 model 3 and it said fsd package included, but when i assigned the car to me it gave me a month of free fsd. i thought i would have it for life!!
If you do buy a used Tesla, be very cautious of buying it directly from Tesla!!!!! Lots of nonrefundable fees, and they do not do a comprehensive detail or inspection of these preowned vehicles. If you do not move forward with the vehicle, you’re shit out of luck and the fees you paid for are gone. Buy a used Tesla privately from someone or a party who you know took very good care of the vehicle.
I bought a 2023 Model 3 used the window sticker that was in the car showed that FSD was added to the purchase price for $15000 after I purchased the car FSD was not on the car
My Model Y had the same thing, if it's added on when ordered it will be on the window sticker however, FSD can be taken off before delivery. That's probably what happened with yours.
My understanding is that FSD will only transfer with a private/owner seller to new owner. If you buy from a dealer or Tesla it will not transfer. You can pull up FSD transfer rules online.
@rafereaves462 I bought FSD tesla S from Nissan dealership in Tesla kept it on there. If the car was bought with full FSD it will stay there for life unless you do a factory reset
@Myksgarage A Tesla used inventory Blue with Black dual motor long range (non-performance) wanted a little bit more range softer cushier suspension for my wife and i's road trips thanks to your video definitely went for the FSD.
I have bought a couple of used Teslas two of them have been from private party sellers so those were easy. We just met at the bank and they had the keys and transferred the Teslas to my account. Two of the ones have been through dealers when was out of state so I had to ship it, so just depends on your situation and who you're buying it from.
I ordered 2021 model y fsd package included for 42k. I wonder do I have to subscribe 99$ a month to use it? Should I cancel the order and purchase a cheaper autopilot or enhenced driver package installed tesla?
Thank you for providing valuable information. If I purchase a used Tesla from a none telsa dealer that includes the "Enhanced Autopilot included package" and the "Premium Connectivity included package" in its software, does this mean that once I complete the ownership transfer with Tesla, these features will still be available in the car?
Meaning through a dealer other than Tesla? Looking at one that has fsd and acceleration boost listed as included. Scared they’ll disappear if I buy it.
So if you buy a used car from Tesla and it has “full self driving capability,” then that’s it right? No monthly cost, you have the feature and future software upgrades?
Actually, no. When it says “full self driving capability”, all that means is it has the hardware installed for full self driving. You still have to pay the subscription fee to actually be able to use FSD. This is coming from the sales rep at a Tesla dealer when I was looking at a used Tesla.
@@bryanarmstrong5747 not right. Of course possible in the future but if you buy a used Tesla from them with fsd there is no subscription. They have paused it one or two times over the last few years but right now the beta is active.
Check out my latest video where I transferred FSD from an old model three to a new model Y ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1pyPJg-A_u8.html
